Convenience isn’t everything. Although this is right next door to where I work I very rarely eat here. The first time I ate here was on a Friday during Lent. I ordered a veggie panini and I have to say the sandwich was soo greasy I couldn’t finish it. To their credit I informed the chef and he assured me that next time I came in not only was the food on the house but it would be much improved. Since that time Ive gotten to know the chefs very well. The food has improved, or so Ive heard. I usually stick to the take away salad bar.

pretty quick, an okay but boring selection. they have breakfast. sandwiches, burgers, salads. very plain selection. no attempt at being gourmet. i grabbed a grilled cheeseburger with fries. $ 7+ and no drink. the fries were crispy and greasy. i’d say they were pretty good. the burger was well seasoned but… clearly came straight from the freezer to the fryer. gross. it’s basically a gas station-esque sandwich shop. skip.

as a former texan, biscuits and gravy are like a long-lost love with which I am never able to rendevous. not so here. it’s served quickly, and with a smile, and with bona fide plaster-consistency gravy. now THAT’S livin’.
