UMKC Rainbow Lounge

Looking for a great place to get away, work on a little homework between classes, read a book, or just watch some TV? Rainbow Lounge is the ideal spot.

Looking to get involved more in the LGBT community on campus, the Rainbow Lounge was my first stop. I was impressed with the hundreds of books available with a huge range of topics that would be of interest to the community. From self help to fiction, history to biographies, you will find something to enjoy. There are also computers so you can complete some homework between classes. Or if you are homeworked out, kick back on one of the couches and enjoy some TV or a movie. Various events for the community are posted on the bulletin board.
I am glad I finally made the time to stop by and see the Rainbow Lounge becoming a favorite place to stop by while I work towards my degree at UMKC.
