Parmesan garlic and Cajun wings combo with fries. Very crispy and delicious… mmmm! Service here is helpful and quick.

Pretty good place to get chicken wings! We ordered the boneless wings and they were awesome! It was so good and spicy. I loved the one with the mango sauce. The staff are great! The place is clean and simple. Definitely going back.

Wingstop is a pretty good place to get wings. Probably worthwhile for carry-out. We decided to hit Wingstop for dinner, but since we weren’t certain if it was just a carry-out place, we called first to confirm that there are seats in the restaurant. There are. It’s pretty much like any other fast-food place with tables, a soda machine, and an order counter. We were there on a Friday night, and it was fairly busy, with about half of the tables filled. Mrs. R. went with breaded tenders, which had a lot of breading and were covered in a Parmesan garlic. I ordered 10 wings — five mango habanero and five Louisiana rub. We also split a regular basket of fries. Mrs. R’s tenders were rather good and juicy. I liked the breading and the sauce. The wings were rather good, the mango habanero had good spice. The Louisiana rub was earthy, a bit like mushrooms, and Mrs. R said that it as probably a file powder rub. The regular fries were a generous boat of fresh-cut fries seasoned with salt, pepper, and maybe… sugar? They had a sweet element that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Mrs. R. also got a «dipper» of bleu cheese with her tenders, but I thought it tasted like foodservice buttermilk ranch dressing that has some bleu cheese crumbles mixed in. All told, wings and tenders for two was about $ 13(we had a coupon for free fries), but Mondays and Tuesdays feature $ 0.60 boneless wings. It’s worth noting that the price for boneless wings is the same as for bone-in wings, and you can get all drums or all flats for a small upcharge. They have a fairly robust website for putting in take-out orders. This review is a first for me – I specifically went to Wingstop to write a review. Lawrence is in the middle of adding several new chicken restaurants, so I’m writing a set of reviews for all of the wing and chicken places. This is the first review in the series.

Used to come here all the time to get the chicken gliders which were great. Unfortunately these stopped being offered a few years back. However the wing flavor was still good so I took a girlfriend tonight to try it. We ordered online for quick pickup so we could spend the night at home and were told the order would be ready in 30 minutes with an exact ready time. We arrived at 35 minutes from order confirmation. No one could find the order we placed and had to look in the closed orders to find it after about 10 minutes of looking. The cashier then stated she lost the order and would give us free drinks if we wanted to wait 15 minutes for them to get us our order… 20 wings and fries. We were then charged the full amount for our order with the drinks we bought online… so no free drinks. She said all she could do was upgrade us to large which we already selected. We really wanted wings at at this point had driven 30 minutes to get there. We watched numerous people come in and order and recieve thier food in the meantime. We also watched orders get returned for being cooked wrong or undercooked and recooked, delivered, and eaten while we waited on our 20 wings. During our wait we watched the cooks pick their nose, teeth, butt, handle uncooked chicken, and cooked chicken, never wash hands, never wear gloves, never wear hair nets. Absolutely disgusting. After 40+ minutes waiting in store, and well over an hour waiting we went back up to check on the order as everyone had been standing around talking for over 10 minutes. Everyone looked around at each other as if they again forgot the order, talked among themselves then said it will be 10 more minutes… what they told everyone on the phone that called in orders with new orders. We never left the front of the store… standing in front of the cooks. We asked for a refund and the cook said ok and with major attitude made the refund. All in all we waited over 1 hour 15 minutes and left with nothing. Will not return.

I came here with three of my teammates for lunch. It was a Tuesday and it was 60 cents per boneless chicken. This was located in a little plaza that had a Target. Parking wasn’t a problem when we came. Their menu had a lot of choices as well as twelve flavors. The place was very small but we managed to get a table in the back. I ordered ten boneless chickens with half in the Teriyaki sauce and the other in the Spicy Korean sauce. It took awhile before our food came out. The Teriyaki sauce was a little too rich for my taste and definitely was concentrated. The Spicy Korean sauce was tasty and not really spicy to me. I tried my teammate’s Hawaiian and Garlic Parmesan which were both good. Ten pieces was a lot for me and I was full when I finished everything. Wingstop was good and wouldn’t mind going back to try other flavors.

I’m not a huge fan of wings, so I’m not sure I am the best person to review Wingstop, but I went with my co-workers and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Teriyaki and the Hawaiian boneless wings. The wings contained a fair amount of chicken, not primarily breading as you sometimes encounter. The tastes were on-point, although I definitely preferred the Hawaiian over the Teriyaki. If you’re a fan of spicy, a few of my co-workers ordered hot wings and they raved about them, but I’ll have to leave that to someone else to review. I had heard good things about the fries, but I was disappointed. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t anything special either… Definitely not what I had heard about going into the restaurant. The service was fair. You can tell the wings are made to order, so it takes 10 – 15 minutes before your order is ready. After placing our order and receiving our food, however, the staff seemed to disappear and were nowhere to be found. I would return to WIngstop if I were with someone who wanted to go, but this isn’t a place that I would go out of my way to visit… Then again, like I said, I’m not particularly a wings fan, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

These are the best wings in the city. The ranch and bleu cheese are hand made and awesome!

I have dropped in at least 5 times, the food. Real good. pricing is acceptable and fairly inexpensive. The reason for 2 stars is IT’s LUNCHTIME. and of course the place gets packed. poor girl at the counter is swamped. I have always online or App ordered. Don’t worry about it. it’s a waste of time. Might as well wait in the line as if you order online, they don’t start your order until you show up… HUH?! I was under the obvious misconception that if you order online this lets the restaurant know you are coming. then they can prep your meal. I walked in today and there were tons of Firemen(no Fire) so they said hey you step on up. This blew the cashiers mind. She said you have to wait your turn then everyone chimed in NO take his now but alas that didn’t help as my order never got started until I showed up. so 20 minutes later I get my wings… Kinda bad service. I think they need to rethink lunchtime expediting of the food. I saw a lot of standing looking at tickets and nothing cooking. Gotta say I doubt I will go back.

My first visit here and probably my last. Two of us went here as we were rather hungry and wanted to give the place a try. The guy at the counter was very friendly and patient as we tried to decide what to order. He even let us sample a couple of the sauces. Trying to decide how many wings to order, I asked if they were«whole» wings to which he replied«yes». He obviously didn’t understand my question as they were split so that the little drummie part counted as one wing. Never really understood how half of a wing counts as a whole wing. We ordered 20 wings(which in turn was really only 10 wings) and an order of fries. What a disappointment — the parm garlic only had a hint of garlic; the BBQ sauce was uneventful and the mild wings were very dry and basically had no flavor at all. The fries would have been good if they had been warm. We were so hungry we ate it all. But $ 20 later, because the wings were so tiny, we were still hungry. We stopped on the way home to get something to eat, as this place just didn’t do it for us. Very so so food and definitely not a good value for the price.

Awesome wings and if you are a french fry fiend you will LOVE their fresh cut fries. Tip: the wings always take 14 minutes to cook so if you are in a hurry, call your order in and it will be hot and ready about the time you get there.

The buffalo sauces aren’t very flavorful and I think they over did it with our Parmesan garlic seasoning. Their boneless wings are better than their traditional bone-in too.

Great wing flavors, terrific variety. The best garlic-parmesan wings I’ve ever tasted. The prices are a little steep and the sides are limited, but if you like wings, you must try this place.

One of the best places for wings in the city. For a chain it’s definitely better than BWW and Hooters. I like Wings Café a lot but this is also a good choice when you want some wings. Oh I forgot the seasoning they use on their fries is awesome too.

I love wings and never been to Wing Stop. I was not disappointed. I drove up to the parking lot and almost left because I didn’t think they served beer. they did. yummy wings. my mouth is burning just right.

Love Wing Stop, but I do wish they had more seating inside. Not a good place for groups as most tables will 4 and those 4 will be a bit squished. However, the food is really good. I only get the boneless here, but they are my favorite wings in KC. I’m slightly surprised this used to be a chain. I mean, the wings are good enough, but it is just such a homey place inside that I have a hard time picturing it. Anyway, I always get the combo of 8 wings, fries and soda for about $ 10. The fries are seasoned in an almost sweet way and you get A TON. I’ve never finished them all. I can handle moderately hot sauces, but here I always go mild because the mild flavors mean only mild in spice. they are very flavorful flavors(ha). The Garlic Parmesan is not for those of you with a first date in the next week. It is powerful garlic, but man, it is good. These come with some grease, but are my favorite. My other favorite is the teriyaki. These come well coated in the flavoring. They do not skimp on the sauce here. I’ve also enjoyed the Hawaiian in the past as well, but teriyaki is my go-to. They also only have a roll of paper towels as napkins here. Wings can get messy, but man, those brown paper towels(the same from middle school science class) do not clean up jack. I’d prefer napkins on the tables, but I am sure they are much greener for not doing it that way.

In comparison to other chain places that serve wings, Wing Stop is in a class of it’s own. By FAR the best tasting wings I’ve had in KC. The home made fries and dressing are outstanding as well. This is not someplace to go to watch a football game though. It’s really a place that you want to go to just to satisfy your wing craving. I have to say that I find it very surprising that a chain with such a huge advantage in terms of the quality of their food over their competitors has so few locations in the metro area.

I got their mild boneless wings and fries. The wings tasted plain to me. I saw the sauce with my eyes but didn’t taste even mild spice. The lack of flavor rendered the blue cheese dip pointless. Sigh… The fries seem to have a salt/sugar mixture on them because they have a sweet flavor. It was… different. I wouldn’t choose to eat there again.

Started out trying to get to a restaurant close by that was over an hour wait and ended up at theWing Stop. Pleasantly surprised by very tasty wings and yummy fries. Great options on the flavors. Fast food atmosphere. Definetly a do over.

I must first start off by saying that I, generally, LOVE Wing Stop and consider it the best chain wing place by FAR. But this location let me down in my time of wing need. It was Super Bowl Sunday and I was forced to leave Vegas and head for Kansas City for a work trip. So while I couldn’t be at a Super Bowl party with friends, if nothing else, I figured I could at least have the Super Bowl food I was craving — wings and fries from Wing Stop. As soon as I was off the plane(and done with the rental car place), I headed immediately for this place(the only Wing Stop location in the greater KC metro area apparently). Since I was staying at a hotel about another 30 minutes or so away, take out was not an option. It was awkward to say the least. I felt like my being there and placing an order was a major inconvenience and they were doing me a huge favor by making me 10 wings. And then I had the nerve to want to dine-in and not do take out. The good: — Bottom line, it was still the Wing Stop basics, so there was no way it could be a bad food experience. The bad: — It seemed like they may have run out of cajun sauce — so instead I got a mix of some cajun seasoning and original hot sauce. Granted, those two things can go together well, so the wings were still tasty. But they were not the typical, actual cajun wings. — The fries were a little soggy. Still delicious, but soggier than what I have come to expect from Wing Stop. — No knives — just plastic forks.(Yes, some of us like to knife and fork our wings, especially when we order them«wet».) The ugly: — No beer on Sundays! This was the hugest let down of all. Super Bowl Sunday and I couldn’t have a beer with my wings. The awkward: — I was the only customer in the place. — There were staff sitting around the tables watching the game — and watching me eat. — About halfway through my 10-piece, the manager called all the staff together around a table in the dining area and proceeded to do a debrief. Extremely awkward — and weird and inappropriate in front of a customer. Basically, I couldn’t enjoy my wings because of all the awkward — and I literally just gave up and tossed a few away so I could leave and get out of there. Not a pleasant experience.
