Got a great deal on a snow thrower a few years ago. Just brought it back in for a tune-up, and to have the blades and scraper replaced. I found the employees to be friendly and direct. Very quick turn-around, but call first to see if they have the time and space to service your machine. I love that they are a locally owned company & would trust them with any small engine repair.

Brought my mower in for what I expected to be an expensive repair. Found out it was a simple repair and the technician repaired free of charge. I was very pleased.

I just purchased a new lawn mower from Young’s KC Mower Center. My prior Toro lawn mower last me over 15 years and I never had a problem with it… but it has aged and had to go to lawn mower heaven. I love bringing my business to Young’s KC Mower because it’s a business in the neighborhood and the staff is awesome and the Toro product is top of the line, in my opinion. So far I’ve purchased two lawn mowers and a snow blower from YKCMC and personally, why go anywhere else. You can’t beat perfection!

I would love to support local business as I live in the area. However, I have never been so rudely treated in my life. I walked into this store for help with my mower. My boyfriend at the time had fixed the mower a few times already and a part of the carburetor had degraded and needed to be replaced. He was not able to do that. So I took it to Young’s. After being acknowledged by the person at the counter who was writing something down(after about five minutes), I explained the situation to him. And he laughed. Laughed at me. He did the whole shaking his head at the silly woman thing. My blood began to boil at that point. He suggested that I had no idea what I was talking about and that he didn’t think it sounded like a carburetor problem. So I asked him if he would look at my mower or not. He said«we don’t do carburetors»(remember he had only moments ago giggled at the very idea that I might think was the problem) and went back to what he was writing on. I stood there for a minute thinking he might say something else… but he didn’t. I had been«dismissed». Stay away… far away.

Been a customer for 30 years when i bought my first rider in 1982. Bob(current owner) has been delivering superior customer service on a continuous basis. Service(exceptional) and competitive pricing has been the key for my returning as a customer. Knew Bob’s father who passed his business along to his son, so truly a long-time family business which i prefer to support as opposed to the ‘big box’ chains. Let’s support our local small businesses.

Bought a Toro at Home Depot & took it to Young’s for service. I realized their prices were very competitive, but their service knocked my socks off. Basic mower repair was done w/o a fee & tune up, blade sharpening was very reasonable. Great local business!
