I dropped my pants off and was told they would be fixed in five days. I came back in ten days and with no phone call the owner said sorry the person that does them is on vacation. Wow this was horrible customer service. Thanks anyways!

Don’t send your dry cleaning here, I rather ship my clothes to an oahu cleaners. If you do one or multiple of the following things will happen: 1. your clothes are lost, 2. your clothes take forever(especially if it is red because they wait to have enough red garments to put in one load word for word what he told me). 3. Your garment is returned with a stain that was never there, with a note that says I’m sorry we weren’t able to get the stain out 4. Food/stain that garment had is now caked on from heat applied but no cleaning.

We had an emergency with a dress for a wedding. Pono cleaners came to the rescue and was able to steam out all the wrinkles within 10 minutes!!! Pono cleaners, you saved the day! The dress was perfect, and your aloha attitude was fabulous! Mahalo Nui Loa!!!

I have to say Pono Cleaners are better then the other guy in koloa. But there both kinda pricey and I understand that do to have the chemicals shipped. And the cost of insurance. It’s worth the price.

Wow! This place is terrible. They don’t give you a price upfront, came to pick up my items and one piece they charged me $ 12 to dry clean has stains that weren’t there before. Never again!

Reliable, professional and does a good job. Takes a little longer than mainland cleaners, but the results are far superior to the Princeville Postal Center on North Shore that send dry cleaning out… have had many losses and bad jobs there. Go to Pono in Kapaa.

I’m still scratching my head about this business. We first visited in early June, and were greeted by Dwayne who is a professional through and through. We had quite a pile of clothing that day, and were given about a 4 – 5 day turnaround. Awesome. I called, however, on the 4th day to determine if the clothes were ready for pick-up; no answer, and I therefore left a message to call me back. No call back. I called the next day, same experience. No call back. Now, a tad upset, I finally drove from Princeville to Kapaa(no dry cleaners on the North Shore!) to pick up my clothes. It was 1:20pm on a Tuesday. I went to the door, it was locked, but I saw someone inside, so I knocked. After a few minutes, a young man came to the door and said, «We’re closed now.» At 1:20pm on a weekday afternoon? Really? Where was Dwayne and his fabulous customer service?! I pleaded with the young man, telling him I’d been calling but received no call back, and that I really needed my clothes(job interview!). He reluctantly let me in, and began processing my pick-up, when another gentleman came in with clothing items to be dry cleaned. He wasn’t told Pono was closed. He was waited on with kindness. Since I now have to pick up additional clothing left @ Pono’s on that fateful Tuesday afternoon, I’m wondering what type of customer service I’ll find when I arrive. That is, of course, if they’re open on a Monday afternoon.

This place is under new management, but still needs to lower the cost of the cleaners. They would take over the cleaning market and put«Up to date cleaners» out of business if they would simply lower cost. Locals sure can’t afford to pay 20 bucks to wash 3 items of clothing! Have we forgotten our community and the locals we serve as businesses. Please don’t charge hotel prices!!!
