Complete Dermatology

Worst Dermatolgy group in Hawaii; don’t bother. I went there 2 months ago for evaluation of past Basal Cell and to be evaluated for possible more Basal Cell Lesions. First the Health Tech came in and was diagnosing Basal Cell on me without a Doctor, let alone a biopsy on her own; the actual Doctor had not even come in yet. The Dr. recommended PDT/​Levulon treatment for my head and face which has plenty of Actinic Keratosis.(Pre_cancers)but it would take 2 – 3 weeks for approval from my Insurance. That finally happened; I told them I could not do this in the winter as I am outdoors a lot. The scheduler called and said Sept. 25^th was soonest; this was almost 2 months away with October and November for additional treatments. ONE week prior to my first treatment, a Tech calls and says «we ran out of Levulon» (the medication) «and we probably won’t get any in time; do you want to reschedule or I can call next week and let you know if it came in.
?» They never called. I had trouble getting anyone on the phone. Had to call at end of day to find out they did not get the medicine for the procedure in. They had 2 months to ensure they got the medicine on time; someone clearly messed up. They never called or answered any e-​mail correspondence… just lame.

I’m sure the doctors are good at what they do and know what they’re doing. But I didn’t even get a chance to see a doctor due to the rude receptionist working today Tuesday August 18. She kept interrupting me not letting me get one word in! Whoever she is needs a course in customer service and yes you were trying to help me out but she needs to learn to shut her mouth when a patient is speaking. I will never go to US dermatology again due to this incident and I’ve decided to find a new doctor.

Dr. Brooke is such a sweet, polite, and caring person. I’ve been coming to see her for a while now and she never fails to greet me with a warm smile. I never wait long to be seen at any appointment and am always in and out in a jiffy! 20 minutes or less. I highly recommend Dr. Brooke and her staff there, you definitely won’t regret it. My skin has never looked better from years suffering with acne and I’m forever thankful

Friendly, professional staff with exceptional customer service. I was really worried about a skin problem my husband was having & they were able to work him in the same day as a new/​additional patient (in Mililani). When he was seen… just so he was sure about the diagnosis that he was about to make; the dermatologist called in a colleague of his to look over the condition for a second opinion. That is awesome & helped reassure my husband that all was OK. Would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has a skin concern. Our previous dermatologist (at Straub) would offer us appointments months out. Glad I was referred by a friend here.

This place was a little hard to find since there are so many businesses in the Kapolei complex but when I walked in for my appointment, I was immediately greeted and taken care of. They took me in right at my appointment time, conducted a simple procedure, and I was out off there in about 30 minutes. The staff and Brooke were awesome, made me feel comfortable, and took care of my follow-​up scheduling and perscription call-​in. If you live in the Kapolei or Ewa area, and need a dermatologist, go see these folks! Thanks Brooke Garcia and staff and see you on my next visit!
