Great box, good coaching. They seem to coach to the beginner, and that’s cool. I’m an L2 coach myself, and would do the same. Give lots of attention to beginners, keep an eye on the others, and only offer coaching that is needed. I don’t like when coaches over coach just because they feel as a coach they should tweak things and try and adjust form, even on a good mover. These coaches didn’t do that. Coached those who needed it and encouraged all.
Big space too and clean music, unlike many boxes. My wife and I dropped in on vacation, and felt welcomed by the coaches and most of the members. Some seemed a bit standoffish, but that’s ok. I always drop in different boxes when I travel, and many members seem somewhat threatened by drop ins. Probably just territorial.
Anyway, if you are looking for a box as a local, a beginner looking to give Crossfit a go, or a drop in on vacation… I would definitely recommend CFWO.

Crossfit West Oahu is not only the largest and best outfitted box in Hawaii it is the largest and best outfitted I have been to in all my travels! The rouge racks that run down both sides of the 10,000 sqft box and the full selection of plates, bars, kettle bells, medicine balls, oly and westside barbell gear are not even the best part. The best part is the incredibly close family that is the membership and experienced coaches. If you have ever considered joining Crossfit, stop considering and get down to CFWO!
