I tried Da Red Lunch Wagon for the first time today, and boy was it was worth it. I ordered the fried noodles combination with kalbi. Surprisingly, the plate even came with a scoop of tuna macaroni salad. The fried noodles had great flavor, wasn’t mushy and contained a good amount of spam. The kalbi was thin, but tasted good. Also, the mac salad was one of the better ones I had in the area. It appears that this lunch wagon is located at a new location on Kuhela Street, between Hanua and Kalaeloa Street.

Steak and shrimp plate… can’t go wrong. Teriyaki steak that melts in your mouth with every bite, piled with shrimp and a special sauce. Well worth the money and the drive out there.

Went here on my day off a couple of days ago. Little did I know my fellow HS alumni runs this awesome food stand. I got the garlic chicken and roast pork combo. The chicken was very flavorful and the pork literally melts in my mouth. Everything was delicious. Too bad they’ re selling the truck. Go soon before they’re gone!!!

I’ve been meaning to write this earlier. Ganir catering and«Da Red Wagon» has moved location. Basically, all of the wagon’s had to move from Kalaeloa Blvd. So, here’s the low down on location; take the first right from Kalaeloa Blvd which is Malakole St then take your first left on Hanua St and you will see them on the right side of the road. Not to worry even though they moved location they still have the same ONO food.

This is what I love about going to Campbell Industrial. Even when I don’t have to go I still go. It’s all about the lunch wagons. You know the food is good because look at the braddahs that frequent the wagons. Not the smallest so you know must be good. «THEREDWAGON«is no exception. They have their daily specials like garlic, furukake chicken, kalbi with kim chee, and etc. They also have a regular menu that you can order from which I prefer to do. My calorie killer is mix plate with 2 hamburger’s, 4 pieces roast pork, 2 scoops rice and mac salad smothered in brown gravy. The price…$ 6.50.OHYEAH!!! Where else in the world can you get a deal like that. Not many places. Check it out. I did. Word to the wise: Don’t eat there because the flies are monsters. They’ll fly away with your food.
