First off do not go to the park if you don’t live in the slums of a community. We were going to obey the rule of register our dog at the park desk and pay the entry fee(or pay a $ 550 fine), when the smug woman at the desk informed us that only residential shit eaters were allowed in. We only got to view the park from the parking lot, but from what we could tell the area was small and littered with piles of crap most likely spilling over from the help desk woman’s mouth. Glad we drove from the other side of the island to view this sorry excuse of dog entertainment.

Came here a week ago to meet our friends and their dog for a play-date with our hairy babies! The lawn was quite overgrown, but other than that, it was a PAWSOME place for the dogs; they loved it. The designer of the park really thought about the dogs as well as the doggie parents. There is a decent amount of shade, benches, lots of room for running/playing fetch, an agility workout arena, and super cute(but not so clean…) water fountains for the dogs to drink from. It is the cleanest dog park I have been to here on west Oahu. Seems like the doggie parents that go here are responsible and pick up after their babies as we only ran into one pile of poop! We will be back again! Hoping the grass will be trimmed when we go back.

I just moved in over the weekend and I absolutely love this park! It’s spacious, in a very dog friendly community, with luscious green grass and trees. Who ever put this park together not only thought of the dogs, but the owners as well. I plan to come here every day.

I take my dog here everyday around 5:30−7pm. It’s the best time for dogs because the sun is going down and it’s cool. I find that most times there will be at least 2 dogs there. And on good days, there will be almost 10 dogs!!! Yes there is a irritating security guard that will ask you if you live in the neighborhood,(for people that don’t live there) just lie and say a four digit number and you’ll be fine;) I live here and I don’t see why they are so anal about it! I think the more dogs the better!!! Anyways there are three different areas, one for small dogs, one for large dogs, and one has an obstacle course. They also give away doggie bags so you can clean up after your own dog and also a cute water fountain in both dog parks. Oh and let’s not forget the dog owners I’ve met throughout the months! Great for chit chat and getting tips from other dog lovers! Probably the best dog park I’ve ever been to!

Well maintained, large, recently upgraded. Technically for residents only, although if you park a little down the road instead of the parking at the leasing center and walk up with your dog no one will question it.

I really like this dog park and have been taking my dogs here for months and for the first time I have got turned away by a security guard for not being a resident…

The park looked very nice but there were big signs that it was for residents only and there were bike locks on all the gates so unless you have the code you can’t get in. Curious how the person who drove from town was able to access it unless it is new. There was no one there so it was disappointing that I couldn’t take my dog in.

Only negative thing I have to say is the drive… coming from a person that lives in town. But for the love of my dog I made the trip out here just so she can experience the agility courses and equipment. This is one of the most cleanest dog parks I’ve seen and you don’t get that whiff of smelly poop!(yuck!). Great for people who small pets.

I don’t know why this dog park has such bad reviews, it is great! Maybe its because those people want to trick you into not coming here and keep this park to themselves. For being on the westside, this park is heaven-sent. Most of the cool parks are over on the other side of the island. This is a great park me and my pup can walk to from our house in Kapolei. It is separated into three sections: the Big Dog Area, Small Dog Area, and the Agility Training Area. The large and small dog areas have benches and cool water fountains. The layout reminds me of a baseball dugout, it is super cute. Its not the biggest dog park in the world but it is remarkably clean, close, and super fun! The park closes at 7:00 pm so make sure you get there before then!

Simple, small, sad. There was at least beautiful green grass for the dogs to play in. I guess it would be heavenly for any dog that was crated all day. However, I don’t see anything there that would be interesting to a dog. It looked kind of like a canine Mixed Martial Arts ring. Please keep an eye on your dog, pick up their poop, and make sure that they are socialized so they won’t fight with the others. Unilocal 365 Challenge: 126⁄365
