I went to Sandro via Unilocal search because we had a very bad experience with another landscaping company. The horror story you hope never happens to you — good deal, payment, mediocre work, then the disappearing act. Finding Sandro was the best thing we ever did as new home owners. We now have someone we can trust. Upon first interaction over the phone, Sandro was personable, courteous, and was able to set up a walkthrough and estimate. I gave him our preference: low maintenance but pretty lawn, weed treatment, and fertilizer treatment. Sandro worked with my husband and I to decide our lawn design. He has never been pushy or forced his opinions. To conserve cost, Sandro recommended we wait to do the lawn design until we are able to do everything. What other business person would care about you saving money? In the meantime, Sandro and his crew has treated our lawn for weeds, fertilized, and did grass cutting. They are prompt and clean up after themselves. We are so happy with Sandro’s service. My neighbors must be impressed as well because 2 have already asked for his number :).

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Sandro did a walk around my property. Told me over a week ago he will write me an estimate. NEVER heard a word.
He stood here and put other Landscapers down. Told me about his personal life and skipped.
I have called and left numerous messages. No reply what so ever.
If the job is too big or your not interested, be upfront and say so. Don’t leave people hanging.
He will probably have this NEGATIVE comment removed as he does weed them out; to keep a high rating!

Sandro is very professional, trustworthy and dedicated to the job. He exceeded my expectations. My job required some innovative thinking and Sandro delivered. He completed my job well within budget. I give him the highest recommendation possible and would recommend him to my family and closest friends. An amazing work ethic!!!

After fighting with our other landscaper for a year-​and-​a-​half, we finally have a beautiful yard which only took three days! Sandros had to kill and rip out our old grass and start from scratch. He was very professional and worked with our budget and offered several alternatives to what we could afford now and in the future. He also made smart recommendations to hardscape areas of our yard that don’t see the light of day, and installing a small rock garden for aestetics.
Be wary of other landscapers who offers you ½ of what the industry is charging. You will definitly get what you pay for. Sandros is worth the investment and will provide you with the right service and the right products.

We’re currently about half way through our job and I felt it necessary to share about our experience with Sandro. We sought out three different estimates to start landscaping at a new house. Sandro was by far, the most responsive to our request for an estimate and also truly listened to what we were asking for. He asked good questions that helped guide our decision making and always offered up cheaper and more expensive alternatives to ensure we considered the whole spectrum of possibilities. He wasn’t the cheapest estimate, nor was he the most expensive, but he was the most professional and we felt we could trust him. He’s now half way through the job and we couldn’t be happier. His crew is extremely professional. Sandro calls/​texts frequently to ensure we understand where he is with progress.
Our neighbors also did lots of shopping around and they went with the best «deal» in selecting their contractors. Their lawn has been installed (which to me looks beautiful!) but who did I see outside of their home at 10p? Sandro! They called him to fix issues that surfaced with their cheaper contractors. Don’t get me wrong, their yard is beautiful — and I personally don’t know the extent of their issues– but it’s obvious that they could tell that my yard is being installed by an extremely professional and very trustworthy crew and I’m glad they reached out to him as I know he’ll get them straight right away… even at 10p at night!

Sandro was very prompt and professional when asked to check our 39,000 gallon leak in our sprinkler! He was very honest and gave us sound recommendations on fixing the leak and was very thorough inspecting our yard for future potential problems.
I will not hesitate to call him for any landscaping issues and highly recommend him to my friends and family.
Sandro, I wish all professionals had your work ethic!

We are very impressed with Sandro’s work. He is really an honest, hard working, personable guy. We hired Sandro to plant shrubs around the front of our property, have a plumeria tree planted, and we needed to kill off an out of control palm tree. From the beginning, he was very helpful in assisting us with what type of bushes to plant. He is actually very knowledgeable in plants, which really impressed me. After completing the job, he says that he is available anytime, to assist in any problems that arise. It’s great to have that kind of assurance. I will be hiring him in the future for sure. It’s not very often you find good customer service on this island. Heck, you’re lucky if some of the businesses even call you back! I called another lawn maintenance company who just told me to change out the sprinklers… well…that didn’t work. Then, I called two other companies with no returned phone. I decided to give Sandro’s a chance and I was just thrilled that I got an answer!
He came over quickly and diagnosed the problem thoroughly. He gave me an estimate for the labor portion and a general fee for parts. He came back three more times throughout the process to get parts and double checked my lawn to see if it still leaked. I am 100% happy with his service and the results!!! Not only was he respectful and polite but he was SO friendly. The poor guy had to explain everything to me twice cuz I know nothing of sprinklers, valves, and water pressure. You could tell he truly wanted me to understand what he was doing and why he was doing it. Definitely nice to know there’s still AMAZING service guys out there who are affordable and get the job done superbly!

If you want excellent customer service, responsiveness, and on site project supervision until you are satisfied with your lawn, I’d recommend Sandros Lawn Service. Our seashore Pasbellum lawn hadn’t been de thatched in over ten years and a few sprinkler heads needed to be relocated. Sandro provided a summary of the recommended work and suggested some lawn maintenance tips for keeping out the nut grass, watering schedule, and types of fertilizer best suited for our lawn. He scheduled a work day and confirmed his arrival time by text the day prior. Sandro and one of his full time workers completed the job, then cleaned, bagged and removed six large bags of thatch. The sprinklers are now covering all areas. Sandro informed us that he’d be checking by on the lawn re growth regularly. I am recommending his service to my friends.
