TJ Maxx

I like this location becasue they always seem to be stocked well, and its super organized. I also like that it is next to target and down to earth.

Workers are super nice. the check out line is very efficient. I always get asked if I need help finding things. Love their home goods section and snacks. Nice addition to Kapolei. So much better than Ross… better products, well stocked and displayed.

This TJ Maxx is awesome! As a former townie I often times lament that the West side lacks the retail sparkle of Honolulu but walking into this discount store was like being resurrected. I went inside looking for a new water bottle for my two daughters and as the automatic doors swooshed open it felt like St. Peter’s heavenly gates greeting me. I often shop at the TJ Maxx at Ward and I instantly fell in love with this location. I think it’s better organized, cleaner and it doesn’t feel overstuffed. My only regret was that I ran short on time to peruse more thoroughly but my family was waiting in the car so this was a five minute romp through shopping paradise. I like TJ Maxx for the home goods and every once in awhile I find fantastic deals on clothing priced under $ 20. I’ll be returning for sure!

I was in search of affordable business-​casual clothing since I normally wear a uniform but had a temporary switch in positions at work. To my pleasant surprise I found so many great very affordable pieces! I got 3 blouses, 3 cardigans and a pair of pants for less than $ 125.
The store was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. I was most impressed by the dressing room… very clean large rooms with great lighting and «skinny» mirrors so everything I tried on looked great. (Very smart!)
I definitely will shop there again!

I love this place! I purchase all my household items and décor from here. Affordable and yet the products are stunning. Couldn’t be more happier

Location/​Parking:
They are located in the Kapolei Commons Shopping Center next to Sports Authority. There are tons of parking at this shopping center.
Merchandise:
They have a wide variety of merchandise from bags, clothing, children’s clothing, home décor, shoes and etc. You can find name brand items like Crocs, Nike, Michael Kors, Coach and etc.
Prices:
You can find cheap to moderately priced items. Name brand items are significantly cheaper than retail price. Clearance items are normally a couple dollars less than the price advertised.
Overall, I love coming here and will continue to come back. It’s definitely a fun hunt to find items for a great price. I found cute Crocs but the two I found were not my size. I was able to find a leash for my dog and a cute comfy shirt. I always see cute shirts and have got a few on other visits.

Clean store, lots of great merchandise, friendly associates, lots of parking, and of course great prices — hopefully it all stays this way! I’m glad this store came to Kapolei — makes for an alternative choice to Ross and Target.

THANK GOD THEY ARE OPEN! Love TJ Maxx! Great deals, nice houseware finds, tons of parking, and neat, clean store! Only complaint would be the men’s section is rather lacking, but I think that’s in general, not just this particular store.

Not worth the drive if you’re not already on this side of the island. This particular location reminded me of the TJ Maxx over in the Ward center, but somehow smaller. I just wasn’t impressed and if you want a bigger selection of things go to the TJ Maxx over in Pearlridge.

WEST SIDERS! Now you don’t need to go into town/​Pearl City for TJ MAXX! Conveniently located next to Target at Sports Authority in Kapolei Commons, TJ MAXX just opened a few weeks ago and is a great add on to this shopping complex.
This location is a lot smaller than the town locations, but still has everything you need from home furnishings to clothes to toiletries. They had a great selection of everything and like all the other TJ MAXX stores, if you look good you are bound to find a gem. Lots of name brand items, non-​name brand (but still super cute!) items, great deals and tons of selection.
I went on opening day and the employees working there were all excited and happy to have a new store open. There were plenty of cashiers so the check out line didn’t take too long, which is always a good thing.
If you are ever on the west side and are in need of house items, clothes, shoes, purses, pet items, shampoos, fragrances, watches… this is the place to go to… and its all cheap!

I recently bought a home on the «west side» & this place couldn’t have opened up at a better time. This review is strictly on their household goods because that’s the only section I’ve been looking at for now.
I’m so happy that they opened up a location in kapolei. With all the road work going on now days, I’d rather not head «town bound» to check out the other locations they have here on the island.
The shelves here are well stocked. I asked the cashier how often they get new shipments, she replied, «Monday through Friday». Well hot damn that’s awesome! I’ve been here once or twice a week since they’ve opened & I never leave empty handed. I must say, their home décor is a whole lot better than Ross, which is just at the other end.
Employees are friendly & there is always someone who asks if I need any help. They have clean restroom & lots of parking. I love this place!

Hello, my name is Victoria and I am a «maxxinista.» It’s easy to get addicted to TJ Maxx. Clean stores (this one is brand spankin’ new!), awesome brand name merchandise at discounted prices and always exceptional customer service. Pair those qualities with location and you’ve got the poison to hook a «maxxinista.»
TJ Maxx opened today at Kapolei Commons (next to Sports Authority and Target) in Kapolei. This location is wonderful! Plenty of parking spots in a very spacious mini-​shopping center.
What I bought:
— New «rustic» single panes mirror for $ 19.00
— Mid-​century looking bowls
— Steve Madden sandals $ 49.99
— a whole lot of other unmentionables that would lead you to believe I am a hoarder.
Great brand names for bedding, clothing, shoes and housewares that you won’t find at rival stores at a better price. What I love about TJ Maxx is that their inventory always looks full but not uncluttered.
Opening day brings out the best and worst from people but I must say, TJ Maxx employees were awesome. I noticed employees from their other stores helping out with this morning’s rush.
The wild, wild west isn’t so wild anymore. The west side is growing and it’s no where close to being done but slowly and surely, businesses like TJ Maxx is conquering the west.
