I had high hopes as the dessert case was loaded with fantastic looking cheesecakes, etc. The menu was a disappointment, though. Nothing vegetarian on the menu, unless you consider onion rings and french fries vegetarian cuisine. A big selection of high-priced burgers, but not one black bean veggie patty option? What’s the big deal about having a stash of those in your freezer for those of us who don’t like to eat beef? For what it’s worth, the french fries were really good. And I’m sure the cheesecakes would’ve been good too.

I brought my family here for what I thought would be a great dinner. Unfortunately we were very disappointed the service was very poor and non attentive when the food arrived it was like warm and unseasoned and then the bill arrived and we received another shock two adults and one child came to over $ 60.00 for Burger’s and a grilled cheese. What a disappointment

Great home cooked food. Awesome soup and salad bar, fish fry is delicious. Good prices for quality and amount of food!

A recent local newspaper review suggesting that Daniel’s had the best burgers in the region attracted us to Daniel’s. The beers are pedestrian. The burgers are all served medium-well done. The side salad was wilted. My ghost pepper cheese burger came with limp raw onions. When I asked for crisp raw onion slices, the waitress gave me a look like I asked her to bring me an entire new order. She came back stating that the kitchen was out of onions and waiting until a new shipment arrived tomorrow. The place was clean and well-lit and there was plenty of parking. Daniel’s is well known for its homemade thin-sliced, home-style potato chips but this night the chips were on the thick side, undercooked, and not at all crisp.

It certainly is not what it use to be. Very slow service, waitress complaining about other customers asking for extra waters and refills. Clearly Daniel is not in charge any longer as he would not tolerate it. Food not cooked to order. We will not return.

We tried Daniel’s for the first time this evening. We can’t say enough good things about the food and service we received. Our waitress was fantastic! The food was outstanding! So fresh and homemade! Be sure to save room for dessert. We had the Devil Made Me Do It Chocolate Cake and it was AMAZING! So nice to have a restaurant in the area that cares about their customers. We will be back! :)

Fantastic service and food! I have used Daniel’s for company lunches(both at the restaurant and within the company) and they have been a huge hit. We typically order the wraps. They always come fresh and made the same day. We also order the chicken raspberry ranch salad off the menu and it is amazing. Definitely something different than what a customer is expecting. The chocolate chip cookies are also a huge favorite! We’ve also tried their various cheesecakes and cakes. No complaints whatsoever. The cheesecakes are superb and rival those of any other bakery or fine dining restaurant. Sandy handles the majority of our orders and is always polite and professional. If we aren’t sure how to pair meals, she has suggestions and ideas. Daniels has really gone above and beyond with our meals. Even on a personal, non work related visit, the staff was friendly. The waitress made suggestions on menu items and her suggestions were excellent. Portion sizes are huge, but make sure you leave room for dessert! You won’t be disappointed!

Almost the only place to eat in town. Menu needs work. Choices and combinations odd. Quality not excellent. I keep going back but only because it’s is the only choice. Confident that a revamp of the menus choices would make this a 3 star alone.

Terrible food in an expensive setting. Would never eat there again or recommend to anyone. Owners know nothing of customer satisfaction, only how to line their greedy pockets.

Terrible service and terrible food. Waitress even flat out admitted she forgot to bring our drinks then brought them after we decided to not finish our awful food.

Cute restaurant but really disappointed in the service. I ordered the Stuffed French Toast since it sounded like something fun that I wouldn’t make at home. Description — A fruity cream cheese in the center of two slices of homemade french bread dipped in batter. Sounds amazing. What I received… two slices of simple egg covered french bread each with a dollop of a fruit flavored cream cheese on the top. In no way were they stuffed. Three different staff members confirmed this is the way they are served and our waitress shared that it is a deceptive menu description. I would have ordered something else if stuffed meant only stuff on top.

Used to enjoy Daniels however have refused to go back. Poor service and pricey food have made my wife and I find alternates in the area.

I was impressed by the homestyle food here. I have only had a quick lunch here but everything seemed to be made in-house. The thin-sliced homestyle potato chips were crispy and salty and the chicken tenders were hand-breaded. Way more satisfying than a chain restaurant!

Live music is good. Food and service not so good. Prime rib sandwich was gray meat on a stale bun. Blue Moon beer served in the bottle with no glass and no orange slice.
