China Super Buffet

Hard to be very descriptive here since it is a Buffet. The food is acceptable, by no means great but then again I do not know of any ‘All You Can Eat Buffet with remarkable food or service. If you are hungry, have lot’s of children and are not picky about institutional Chinese food… feel free to go. If you are any or all of the aforementioned you should likely find a different place to eat.

what’s not to like about this place? lots of food choices, excellent service, reasonably priced, all you can eat buffet. if you think the food is bland, there are always a few sauces in the table you can use.

Cockroaches cold food bad atmosphere dirty filthy bathrooms!!! i can’t believe that the host was still trying to sit us in the booth (even after i said cockroach !! OMG!)with a live cockroach at the head of the booth!!! Crawling on the table & fell on the floor.

We’ve been to this restaurant 2 times this being our 2^nd the 1^st time we thought «huh. maybe they’re short staffed or just had a rush of business & that’s why the floor has a lot of food on it & tables are not wiped off.» & Again that same day we thought «maybe there dishwasher is broken that’s why there’s food stuck on the plates and utensils.»
Our waitress did bring us out clean dishes but after waiting for a while. I remember thinking «huh that’s weird I thought I put on lip balm not pink lipstick as I sipped tea from a coffee mug.»
Looking down at it. Come to find out that cup was dirty & most likely the contents from the last person was dumped out & mine poured into it. This mug hadn’t even been cleaned. Here I was drinking from a dirty cup with the other persons lipstick on my bottom lip. I SCREAMED! & complained I was about to loose my Mind and we were about to leave. you don’t understand. the things I thought of ugh I was so disgusted. At that moment the manager walked over and told us our meal was free and invited us back again. We reluctantly accepted & thought «well at least their trying to fix the problem «I said.

(Leading up too the cockroach I spoke about in the beginning of this post.)
We walked in about two weeks later and spoke with the manager maybe… He was just having a bad day. I don’t know but he was very agitated & irritated I tried to break the ice but he seemed PISSED!
He then proceeded to walk us to a booth on the way I told my husband «Jon! look on the floor» there was baby roaches swept in a corner with the broom leaning against the wall. The only server they had walked from back there towards us as I started screaming OMG! A cockroach crawling on the freaking table and fell on the head of the booth upside down. They said «no no it’s okay we clean you sit & eat buffet okay» we responded «Ohh Hell No! and left.»
I wish we could give them a –negative –29 & close them down!!! the one star is not!
I repeat not! positive it’s the lowest rate you can give. If this is what we saw/​witnessed what insects or vermin do they have crawling around in the kitchen that we don’t see !!! It’s obvious their not clean and infested
Take heed! beware!!!
If you care about your wellbeing go somewhere else!!!
I understand that even a clean home like mine will have a few outside critters now & then but this was a no no.
On top of dirty dishes cockroaches and a bad attitude HELL NO!

Went here for lunch today with coworkers, and there was a giant roach crawling on the wall. Half of us were completely turned off and didn’t finish our meal. We called the girl over, and she went and got a broom to knock it off the wall then swatted it a few times before picking it up with paper. When we were leaving and stated that we were too disgusted to finish our meal, we were told that the roach was not in our food so we still had to pay. I understand that places get bugs, and I’m definitely not out looking for a free meal, but do something to try and make it right. All they could say was I’m sorry. I just hope they use the money I spent on an exterminator!

It’s way better than the buffets in my hometown. Much much more decent than the buffets I have ever been to. When I walked in I was like whoaa this place is empty – hardly any customers.
There was a huge selection of foods to choose from. Ribs to chow mein to salted shrimp to crawfish to cheese wonton to salmon to all sorts of food. I was a little bummed out that there wasn’t a huge variety of sushi. It was just like the typical california roll =(The spring rolls were decent. I loved how they had real ice cream. The ice cream wasn’t really dense and thick… somewhat soft.

No real variety no matter when you come & pricey.
There were no stand out dishes, which disappointed me highly. A variety of dishes are available, which includes some sushi and ice cream you scoop out yourself from big barrels, but no real deal food could actually draw me to this place. This is a stop if I am already in the area shopping and just have the urge to eat mounds of just okay Chinese food that is slightly over priced.

This place has mastered the calorie-​free buffet: it stayed in my digestive system for such a short amount of time, my body couldn’t have absorbed any calories. In fact, I think I finished lighter than when I started!

Agree with the previous review. Just average bland food. But the service was really good. If you want average food and large quantities, you’ll like the food.

It’s not saying much, but this is probably my favorite Chinese buffet (so far) in the Houston-​Katy area. The food is decent, and they have a good choice of ice cream. As long as your expectations are lowered, then you will leave happy.
