We had a wonderful experience here. The lady who helped us was fantastic(embarrassed I forgot her name) and great with my 1 year old! The hair cut that he got was great, she really took her time on him and made she to keep checking with me as well during the cut to make sure I liked it — what a nice surprise! The whole process took less than 20 minutes and the price was right. We will be going back to this place for our next hair cut!

I had to take my son to quite a few salons before I finally found one where the stylist would actually listen to how he wanted his haircut, which wasn’t all short & shaved-off like a lot of boys his age! She listened well, he was entertained by the video games, & he was totally happy with his hair cut-For the 1st time in months! I loved it, simply because he was finally satisfied! And to top it off they offered a coupon and then they send me emails with coupons for every time we go. Finally he also had a problem with dry scalp and the lady recommended a certain shampoo and conditioner combo that ended up being just what he needed I was very impressed that it worked so that was a bonus, considering the products she suggested weren’t all that in cheap either. But, even I know sometimes you gotta pay a little more to get better quality, & that’s what we got!

This is a nice place for kids. They have a train table and the chairs are set as cars, airplanes and such. The lady was super-quick, finishing in about 3 minutes while our one year old cried, poor thing. But she was nice and tried really hard to make him smile. She also came over after he calmed down and played with the train table to get a spot she missed. It’s pricey for a child’s haircut though, but you’re paying extra to have the kid touches that would make it more comfortable for reluctant clients like ours. Update: After going to a couple other places in town, I’ve downgraded this review. Others seem to be much better at engaging the kids and working with them, rather than forcing them through the haircut crying.

This is a great place to take kids for haircuts. I’ve been taking our twin boys here for over two years, and I’ve always been satisfied with the service and quality of haircuts. You can make an appointment or they accept walk-ins. If you prefer not to wait, I suggest making an appointment because they are usually running on schedule. They also sell hair products for children and youth, plus an assortment of bows and ribbons. I think we’ve had every stylist there at least once. Some are faster than others, but everyone does a good job and has been really nice. They have cute cars that are raised for the kids to sit in while they get their hair cut. Mine usually sit in one of the fire engines, but there’s a taxi too. While kids get hair cut, they watch a movie of their choice. They have Elmo, Sesame Street, The Wiggles, Cinderella, Thomas the Train, Toy Story and lots of other titles. You could probably bring your own if you wanted to. There is a play area for kids while they wait. They have legos, a nice Thomas the Train table with trains, and a TV with a movie playing most of the time. There’s also a video game section, with nintendo or something similar, for older kids. Fortunately my kids don’t mind haircuts, but I’ve been there when kids are absolutely freaking out, kicking and screaming the whole time. They handled them well and still did a good job. Surprisingly, they didn’t even talk about the difficult kids when they left! One of mine vomited all over the place once — his clothes, the floor, the fire engine — you get the idea. No one got upset. They got some towels and we worked together to clean it up. They still cut his hair, as he sat there in his underwear! I realized these ladies can handle just about anything, and left an extra good tip that day. A standard haircut is $ 17.95. If you want a shampoo and dry, that’s a couple dollars more. If you just want bangs cut, that’s $ 8.00. They have other styling options like braiding, basic styling, and corn rows. For my baby girl, I plan to get their first haircut memory package which is complimentary with a cut. So if you’re looking for a place to take kids for a haircut, I’d recommend this place. I would suggest making an appointment though, especially on weekends.
