Having a store 5 min. from home is nice. The clothes are cute and a good deal. But too bad the staff at this location doesn’t seem friendly nor smile. Walked in and was greeted by the sales girl at register. Browsed around and noticed 2 staff plus the Mgr was present. There was 1 other customer in front of me when I was ready to check out. When it was my turn, I approached the register staff and there was no greeting. Took her a few minutes to acknowledge I was standing there waiting which is ok. I proceeded to tell her I had an online purchase for return and she called the Mgr. over. The Mgr doesn’t even look at me and goes, «It’s going to affect your gymbucks. Do you care?» I told her that’s fine and I don’t need the gymbucks. After completing the return transaction, she staples the receipt and hands it to me and walks away without a word. I looked and she started organizing clothes on racks I think. Wow! I don’t recall that as professionalism or customer service. Poor service so I decided not to proceed with my purchase, left the items back and left the store.

They have a lot of nice things for my baby here but the sale associates seem like they don’t want to work there or be bothered with. I came in and no one ever greeted me and when it was time to check out the worker there never asked how things were or said thank you. I also came back to do a return and was greeted by a depressing associate. She seemed so eager to leave. After she did my exchange she charged right out the door without saying a word. It must be tough working there or something since the associates that I saw there seemed all gloomy and bothered.

This is my favorite Gymboree store. The people are always nice and very helpful, even if you’re there to make a return or exchange. The clothes are excellent quality and very cute. This is pretty much the only brand of clothing my children wear, and they have a ton of new clothes all the time from Gymboree. If you know how to shop there, you can get amazing deals. Of course they have the typical sales racks, and you’ll get some good stuff there for your kiddos. If you really want to get the best deals on Gymboree clothes — 1. get their credit card to save 5% on every purchase, and to earn Gymboree gift cards. 2. sign up on their website to receive coupons by email and notification of sale events. I get 20% and 30% coupons from them fairly regularly. You can also find coupons in certain magazines like«Cookie» and«Parenting.» If all else fails, buy a coupon on eBay. 3. Buy clothing during Gymbuck earning periods. You will receive email notifications of when those periods begin and end. With your gymbucks, you’ll save 50% on clothing(for the amount of Gymbucks you have) during a certain time period, usually several weeks. You can also buy Gymbucks on eBay. 4. Sign up to receive coupons in the mail at this store, or another Gymboree store. 5. Sign up for the Gymboree Rewards program. You earn points for your purchases, and get a special coupon about four times a year based on your earning. You can sign up at the store or online. 6. Don’t buy ANYTHING at full price. Gymboree puts things on sale very quickly, usually after just a few weeks. Try to wait it out, unless it’s something you absolutely must have! So, — buy items on sale using your Gymboree card and coupons for great savings. You can also use your gift cards to pay! For example, this summer I ordered five pairs of shorts already on sale, used a 20% off coupon, and then a Gymboree gift card to pay. The whole order shipped for $ 0.00. Most orders aren’t that good, but there are some serious savings to be had at Gymboree if you know how to shop there. Great stuff. I highly recommend!
