I could not bring myself to give a lawyer five stars for anything other than a beautiful funeral(Shakespeare reference not intended to offend the legal profession or promote anti lawyer feelings) but if you have to have someone on your side, Ken seems to be as good at his job as is needed. He will not string you along with maybes, just tell you the good and the bad news quickly. My tangling with the law certainly trashed most of my assumptions about the fairness of the system, especially when we beat the DWI because the Judge said and I quote verbatim, «I cannot sit here and listen to this police officer continue to commit perjury in my courtroom any longer.» and the officer was not arrested. Back to Mr. Ward, he led me through the process with the minimum of pain and trouble and what I thought was a disturbingly friendly attitude until I found out that he really is a jazz pianist and can be found most weekends at Trulucks.
