Wow, first time in and loved this place, friendly service, great options, Margs and live music Saturday nights from what I could tell. This is a great find off the I-10 congested restaurant path. Food doesn’t seem to be as watered down in grease like other spots in town, that’s good, we will definitely be back. It really feels like a local spot, where you may start to know people by name if you come back often. The service was great and price was right. Check them out!

Wow what a find. The staff is incredible, always attentive and extremely polite. The salsa and chips are what you would find with any other local Mexican place, nothing really makes them stand out. I had the beef fajita enchiladas and was extremely impressed full of flavor and full of meat, prices are fair… Highly recommend mend this over the more populated places in the area.

Food was good and the portions were big. The only downside was the service. The waiter didn’t check to see if our water was empty and didn’t ask us once how our meal was going.

Love this place! We just moved in the area, and have eaten here probably 10 times. The food is always great, the staff is upbeat and friendly and their breakfast tacos are legit.

Great food and really good service. Had the seafood chicken and it was awesome. The ritas do the trick and wait staff was very friendly.

Fast and friendly service. Ordered the taco lunch special. Came with two tacos wrapped in tortillas and rice & beans. I selected the ground beef for my tacos and although they were good they were really greasy. So greasy that they soaked through the tortillas and made them soggy. The waiter was nice and brought me fresh tortillas but they became soggy as well. I’ll return again and try something else on the menu before I make my final decision on the place. Everything else about the meal was pretty good.

The food was delicious. We got the beef fajitas, they were so tender and juicy. The service has great. We got out food very quickly and were pleasantly surprised at how fast they were.

Ordered the Mole Enchiladas. Food was served quickly. Very generous with the cheese. :) Was craving an agua de horchata, but they don’t serve any aguas naturales. The food definitely falls in the Tex-Mex category. Although, I can’t blame them for serving the demographics of the area. Only the refried beans had a more authentic taste to them. The mole sauce was flavorful. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would not go out of my way to return, but would consider returning next time my car is getting serviced down the street.

No complaints here. First I must say I judge a Mexican food restaurant on its rice and beans. If the rice and beans taste authentic, I’ll likely return. I will definitely return. I was there 05÷22÷15. The service was fast, the salsa and chips were fine. My tacos al carbon were really good. The rice was as authentic as I know… I know, I’m Hispanic. The frijoles a la charra were great, actually. BTW, flautas are deep fried with already cooked meat. Of course the oil is going to cook the meat further. That may be why someone posted that the meat is freezer burned. So, if you read all these fluffy reviews and can’t device, go try it for yourself. Everyone has different taste and expectations. The food and service met and exceeded my expectations. Thanks.

I have been going to this place for years! And I have never been disappointed! The food is always great as well as the service! Even if it’s 6 o clock on a Friday night expect your food to come out 10 minutes after you order. THEYAREFAST! Jesus, is the sweetest man alive and is very close with my family and I. Hands down my FAVORITE Mexican place to eat! What I recommend: Chicken Flautas Enchiladas Burrito Fajitas

Las Mananitas is great if you don’t want to have to wait long to get your food. They have really good red and green salsa for chips. But I think their best dishes are the tamales and cheese enchiladas. Their tamales are the best ever! Very flavorful and meaty… not all masa with remnants of meat like other places. And the food comes out in about 10 minutes after placing an order so if you have hungry kids this is the place to come!

Much better location than the Waterside Estates location. Good service, no wait, food came out quick. Just average nothing wonderful typical average Mexican food.

As a whole the food was decent but nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the main course(Enchiladas Verdes and Tacos al Carbon). However, everything else that makes a visit to a Mexican restaurant enjoyable(Margaritas, Chips, Red Salsa, Refried Beans, and Rice) were just average or below average. The refried beans were runny and disgusting. There are too many good Mexican restaurants in Katy to waste one’s time on Las Mananitas.

I ate here for lunch once and the flavor of their beef fajita meat is very good! It brings me back to my childhood weekend barbecues! The Redford beans were a bit salty for my taste though, but other than that it was a good little restaurant to eat at!

I moved to TX over 4 years ago, and this is BARNONE the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant yet. The staff was all very cordial and green sauce was good, but it stopped there. The chips were greasy. I ordered fish tacos. The only taste I got from one bite was over cooked, dry fish. No flavor but fishy flavor. I asked the server to take them back and bring me some flautas. The chicken was CLEARLY freezer burnt in the flautas. Their idea of a flauta, also, is unseasoned chicken wrapped in a corn tortilla and fried. Nothing more. Then the sour cream they give you to dip it in was DISGUSTING. Sour cream should not be as thick as butter, nor should it stick to the bowl when turned upside down. Not a single drop on the table, and I held it there for over a minute. This food was just terrible. How is this place still in business?!?

My family and I consider this to be our regular Mexican restaurant. The food is consistently good, and so is the service. The prices are fair and the atmosphere welcoming. You should check it out if you want to enjoy some nice casual dining.

Went here for dinner last friday night. Arrived and we were seated without a wait. Happy hour was still going on so I tried one of the large frozen margaritas. It was very good and only $ 5.50. The chips were brought out with 2 types of salsa. The green salsa was cold and the red salsa was served hot. Both were very good. For an appetizer we ordered queso. I was surprised that it didn’t come with pickled jalapenos. I asked for them and they brought me a small bowl. Think it was the first time I have been charged extra for them. For the main course we ordered the beef fajitas for two. A sizzling platter was brought out with a large portion of beef and onions. The beef was slightly overcooked but still pretty good. It was served with fresh handmade and delicious flour tortillas. They were great. The rice and beans were just Ok, the type you would get at most tex mex restaurants. The staff was attentive and everyone was friendly. The tables and floors were clean. Plenty of parking spaces in the lot. The prices are reasonable. All in all a good place for tex mex.
