Legend Nails

Took my niece and 2 daughters for a pedicure and manicure. The girls enjoyed it and I was happy to see all of them smiling. Tina is my tech and she takes her time and is very thorough. Even when I think she’s done she tells me to «wait almost done» and goes back and checks her work. I am a man and was always not sure if this was for me but she helped me out so much with an ingrown toenail and for that reason alone I always get a pedicure and ask for her. Doctor wanted to do surgery but Tina fixed me right up and the toe is healthy again. They have a really great team there. Men, it’s part of taking care of your body and good healthy hygiene if nothing else.

First time and last time at this place. I walked in too see all this white sticky stuff all over the customers waiting area. Looks like a kid through food or something and no one cleaned it up. Should have walked out then. They gave me a little wheel of shellac, nothing good to chose from, very little choices and no matching colors for my toes. After awhile I found something half decent and proceeded to get my pedicure. The area where you sit is disgusting! Flies everywhere, dust, the walls are marked up to hell and all the chairs, tools and stands old and gross. I couldn’t get into my normal place and stayed. Worst experience ever, I didn’t enjoy myself because how gross this place is. I am waiting for the health department to shut this place down! You will get some kind of fungus here if you use this place long enough. Never again, gives me the creeps passing by here now.

I get my nails done here pretty regularly. Tony and Kim are my favorite. They make sure you are comfortable and make an effort to get to know you. I suggest making an appointment otherwise you will have to wait some time. They tend to be very busy especially in the evenings. I have tried other places in Katy and none of them have compared. Pricing is average for a nail salon.

Ask for Steven or Tony for nails. They are friendly and do a great job. They are reasonably priced and have a nice salon. I moved so I don’t go as often to this location but every once in a while I decide to make the drive just to say hello and chat.

Ok, so this is my old stand by and my last resort for my nails. it used to be way better but since they added this new chic, not so much. I don’t know her name but I went in there like 3 weeks ago and she cut me while cleaning up my cuticle. I was so displeased that I have not been back and probably won’t go back to get my nails done. I love Julie and the 3 guys that are in there but since the service has declined, I think it’s best for me to give them a break.

Horrible customer service from the older, almost bald guy. I waited to get my nails done and he started on someone else who came after me. He’s been rude every since I started coming here. I only came here because my other nail shop was too crowded. This is my last time smh. He deserved this horrible review.
Also, when I came on Halloween, Steven became upset because he had to take his kids trick or treating. He rushed and had a major attitude. If he was going to be like that, they just should of been closed or he should have taken off.

I was skeptical about switching nail salons but now I regret not switching sooner. I believe the nail techs name is ‘William’ (a guy, of course) he perfected my nails on the 1^st try. I’m very picky so that’s a big deal. I can’t wait to go back for my next service.

My sister and I visited yesterday and had the absolute worst experience in our lives. We waited about 15 mins and after we were seated for our pedicure and manicure we waited for another 20 minutes soaking our feet (let me add the water was really cold, every where I’ve been the water is always warm to hot) when they started they both looked in a very bad mood and rolling there eyes. They didn’t ask if we wanted our nails trimmed, the just started clipping away. They weren’t careful with filing my nails, they filed them so aggressively that when i put my feet back in the water they were burning. I immediately told her to stop and that I no longer wanted to continue, I was very dissatisfied. My sister was having her callus removed and he didn’t put anything on her feet and he was so aggressive as well he cut her on her ankle with the callus remover (we have never had anyone use a callus remover on our ankles. We paid $ 5 each and ran out of there, Never going back. We ended up go back to my usual spot at stillwater on westgreen, I should of just drove the extra distance in the first place instead of trying out legend nails because they were closer to me. Please save your self the trouble of even stopping here.

I received horrible service here. They do everything so quickly just to get you out of the way and it does not matter that you have an appointment you will wait up to 45 minutes for your turn. Steven I believe is his name was very rude to me and I preferred to just leave. Do not recommend this place.

Love love love this place. Came from an overpriced place on firethorne and 1463 which is priced twice as high and i was turned away for having a coupon. I have been faithful to legen nails and will continue to me. The $ 26.00 deluxe pedicure lasts an hour and includes hot stones, massage, parafin wax, seems like it includes everything. Only down side, they dont serve wine but for the price, i will bring my own.

I love this nail salon! I’ve come here at least once a month for the last say 5 years since I get shellac. Julie & Kim are seriously the best. They take their time and won’t let you leave without your nails looking amazing.

Love these folks. I get the shellac mani and it is awesome. They have a wide variety of shellac colors available and even some special ones. Kim is amazing.

This place is great. I have been to other nail salons and believe me I have tried a few! But this place is great! Not only did they do a great job on my nails, they did it for a great price. Other salons I went too charged me an arm and a leg for for shellac and pedicures. Legend nails is also very sanitary. The guy who worked on me made sure everything was clean. And constantly sanitized as he went. He even asked several times if I was comfortable with temperatures and length. Its nice to know that there is a nail salon where the employees care about your comfort. I am definitely going there again!

I love this place! The staff is super friendly and they are very accommodating! Nail techs aren’t mind readers, so if you don’t voice your requests, of course they won’t do it!

«It gets the deed done», nothing more. Nothing special. The manicure takes way too long, for more than it should. Service is «bleh». It’s rare when there’s someone that isn’t rude to you while you’re there. Go if you MUST

I have been going to Legend Nails for 3 years now and I won’t go anywhere else. Steven does a fantastic job on full sets (I won’t let anyone else do them) and pedicure’s are always great. They do get very busy so sometimes the wait sucks but they open at 9:00 am on Saturdays and stay open until 11 and are open Sundays as well which is really nice. Everyone is really friendly :).

The salon is relatively nice, but there services aren’t that great. I got the shellac manicure and it did not look great. I just wasn’t that pleased with the service. The pedicure wasn’t that great either. My feet did not feel or look any better.
*update* I’d like to update my review, I went back again after my last time because I wanted to give the spot another try. I went in and the place is still nice, but they upgraded their shellac machine! My nails came out beautiful and my nail technician, I believe her name was Kim, was just amazing. I love this place and although we may move out of the neighborhood soon, I will be coming back to visit this shop. It’s my go to shop in katy.
