My niece and I were here this morning. Our appointments were set for 9:00 am. We arrived right on time! We chose our colors. They brought us back together to get our pedis. My niece chose a green fun color and I chose an electric blue for my toes. This place is busy in a good way!!! Lots of clients arrived at the same time and they got everyone situated very quickly. Clean and efficient. My first time here. My niece has been here before. The Ladies that helped us were very nice! Really sweet to my niece. I haven’t had a pedi in a while, but my tootsies look great! Salon was bustling and comfortable! We’ll be back in February!

This place is the best in KATY!!! The place is so high class. The service is like a 5 star hotel and the people are AWESOME!!! It is like a high class spa not a normal nail place. Ask for bill for your nails and Kim for your toes and Mandy the manager is so professional and accommodating .I lovvve it here !! Prices great too ;)

I usually come here to get my nails done. Mandy is always very nice and helpful and I admire her as a business woman. The only reason I docked one star off was because of inconsistencies. I never had a problem with the end result, but It was what happened in between which bothered me. For example sometimes I would get a great massage, sometimes I wouldn’t. Sometimes they would cut me, other times they wouldn’t. They were all minor details to me, but I couldn’t give 4 ½ stars.

I called at 9am on a Tuesday to see if they had any available times for a mani/​pedi within the hour, they had one within 10 minutes for me. It is very nice inside, clean and the staff is super friendly! I love my nails and will be returning! Shelly did my mani and Mae did my pedi — both were great!

This place is great. I made an appointment and when I walked in, my tech was waiting on me. They did not rush me to pick a color. I took my time and then the tech also took her time to listen to me and delivered exactly what I wanted. The place is also extremely clean. I definitely recommend this nail salon.

I was a customer of this nail salon long before Mandy and Bill took ownership. The changes they have made are so wonderful. They have completely redecorated the interior. The made it like a very nice spa, so peaceful, comfortable and clean. They are very dedicated to cleanliness, sanitary conditions and customer safety. I really appreciate that. Everyone is so kind, friendly and concerned about meeting customer needs. They have upgraded every aspect of the salon. The new pedicure chairs are awesome and very comfortable. Mandy is on top of everything and will make sure that you get exactly what you ask for. Mandy and Bill have provided a top notch nail salon. It is very well ran. I would recommend them to everyone.

Lotus Nails is the best nail salon ever! Amazing selection of acrylic powder colors, shellac colors, and polish colors. All of the nail technicians are great! Mandy, the owner, is super sweet. It does get busy so I do recommend making an appointment. They have a wide range of options for manicures and pedicures. They just got new pedicure chairs. Go relax and enjoy!

Very clean and relaxing. A bit pricier than most but well worth it… The extras like a long relaxing massage & callus removal are included. Plenty of staff on hand to eliminate wait times. I always come early thinking I’ll be one of the first clients of the day… Never happens, but it’s no problem. No language barriers here… The ladies speak very good English. I don’t see myself ever trying another nail shop.

I have gone here every now and then for 5 months. The very first nail technician I ever received was Josie but after that I forgot her name. Boy, do I regret that. She made my feet the most clean it’s ever been, honestly. I spend everyday on my feet and by the end of the day, they’re very calloused and dirty. It surprised me that she could do such a good job on them. After two more visits and still no Josie, I made an appointment for me and my boyfriendofthetime. Josie did my boyfriendofthetime’s toes! I was so shocked to see Josie doing his feet. Just because I’ve been trying to remember her, that’s when I finally learned her name. He said that it was probably one of the best feelings in his life. Those two visits before were not my best pedicures. They rushed, they didn’t care. Whoever was doing my hands was talking to whoever was doing my feet. They didn’t think I was Vietnamese so they would talk about everything from their family to their plans to whatever. What am I supposed to do though? Interrupt them and tell them I’m trying to relax? No. Today, I got a pedicure with two of my friends and their nail technicians were very talkative which my friends liked. But by the time they got their towel wrap, Josie was carefully scrubbing every callous away still. I even got started first. Anyways to sum it up, I would do 5 stars for Josie because she always takes her time scrubbing and making sure that she takes her time on massages. I subtracted a star for those other visits.

Never had a bad experience here. Love the milk and honey pedicure when I really need some extra love, but the signature pedicure is a good buy. All the nail techs are great and my pedicures last forever (the polish). Only place I will go in Katy.

I’ve been to lotus a few times now. Overall I was inclined to give 4 stars but a few things pushed it down. Here’s my pro/​con list:
Pros:
–Very nice interiors and clean. They use liners and individual buffers
–manager is super nice and organized
–they offer drinks (wine too if you’re inclined)
–tons of shellac colors
Cons:
–crowded
–not all technicians created equal (some are in too much of a hurry)
–I feel like they «nickel and dime» — for example, if I don’t want to stick both hands in a tiny soaking bowl, it’s $ 5 to wrap nails with shellac. Also add glitter layer, another $ 5. Too many quality salons around katy to be that expensive.
Would I go back, yes in a pinch. Have I found better, yes — memory nails on 1463.

I went expecting to get great work done because I e heard good things, but my nails looked terrible. I’m NOT a picky person, yet I had to file my nails the right way after I left. They gave me crooked acrylics that were all different lengths, and shaped horribly. My nails look in dyer need of a fill in only 2 days later.
Should have had great work for their high pricing.
Never going back!!!

I’m new to Texas and this place makes you feel right at home… This place is truly amazing. Kim is my nail tech and she is just wonderful!!! the menu is well presented no hidden cost like other salons I’ve gone to.

I absolutely love Lotus! I am such a nail snob and very picky when it comes to my manicures, but especially my pedicures! I expect a thorough job cleaning up my feet, a long massage, and a good job on the polish. Lotus gives me all that and more!
Mandy, the owner, is so sweet and accomadating. I love this place bc if you make a reservation, you are taken on time. Most nail places that allow walk-​ins tend to take them as soon as they show up, therefore pushing back my start time, even though I have a reservation. The fact that Mandy makes sure to take the scheduled customers first is awesome!
They offer 3 different types of pedicures, and I’ve had every one. It’s nice to have a variety depending on what price range you’re looking at. Every single nail technician I’ve had does a fabulous job! Especially with their massages-​which is what makes or breaks my pedicure. I feel happy and relaxed everytime I leave.
Lotus also has a wonderful variety of nail colors, including shellac. Some nail salons I go to are very limited with their shellac selection, but Lotus has so many it makes it hard for me to make decisions bc I love them all.
I really cannot rave enough about this place. Like I said, I’m a pedicure brat and expect a lot when I go to get one. To show just how much I love this one, I live out in the Galleria area and will drive the 30 minutes to get to this salon to have my nails done. I’m so happy to have found this salon!

When the new owners took over, it was just fabulous. I’ve been going there for about 3 years and Mandy took over two years ago. She has a BS in Business and it shows in how she operates the business that she clearly loves.
On Fridays and weekends, you MUST have an appointment because they are so popular. It wasn’t that way before Mandy and her sweet husband took over. They know how to keep appointments which I appreciate. From listening to the reception area, it’s rare someone doesn’t show up for their appointment.
The staff are friendly, it’s well organized, nice offerings in terms of drinks, and their staff are dedicated and careful. They are also a lot of fun.
I can’t say enough great things. I always hate it when I’m traveling and can’t get there and have to get my nails done in another city.

Love this place! I have been going to Lotus Nails for a little over 2 ½ months now and when I first went in, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep my acryllic nails or switch to Shellac. After speaking to Mandy, I was glad that I went with the decision that she suggested. I have had my acyrllic nails off now for 2 months and love the Shellac. I will never go back to the acryllic. Mandy has been a great help and I love Michelle and Jenny my technicians.
Please note that it is best to have an appt when you go, but it is definitely well worth the visit and everyone is super friendly.
I as well will be a customer of Lotus Nails for a long time to come and will refer as many people as I can.

I’ve been a customer for about a year now. It’s a very relaxing comfortable place to get your nails done. They do little nice things like offer you a drink (wine, water or a soft drink) upon sitting in your chair. Mandy (the owner) is very pleasant and organized so I think things run smoothly because of her. Not all nail salons have such friendly people so it’s refreshing to deal with such a friendly person, who remembers you once you are a regular.

I will NEVER go back to this place. Had an appointment & they told me to arrive 10 minutes early… maybe so I could find a parking space (the lot was packed). Walked in with 2 women behind me, who walked in front of me to sign in. Since I hadn’t visited before I didn’t know the protocol. The place was packed at 2:00 on a Saturday, but even with an appointment I had to wait. It is a small, cramped reception area & there was no place to sit, much less stand. Waited until 10 minutes after my appointment time & it was very clear that they were no where near calling me for my appointment. I wouldn’t go back there if you paid me.

I’ve been going to Lotus on and off for a couple of years. When I first started going it was great I had a very good nail tech, but she moved and never came back. In the years since, I had another nail tech — Mimi — who was pretty good at shaping, but her attitude sucked. She was not friendly, never smiled and spoke Vietnamese to the other techs in front of customers. That to me is very rude and completely unacceptable. She was also very rough and frequently cut me with the nail drill. I was willing to overlook it because she was good.
I quit going for a few months and returned a couple of months ago. Le was my nail tech. While she was very nice and did a decent job filing my nails, they always lifted and/​or came off entirely after a few days.
Their prices are high and I just don’t think it’s worth it anymore. There are way too many other salons in the area.
