Got take out from PDQ again the other day and I can’t sop thinking about the Blue Cheese dip. The chicken strips are average, the fries are fair but that blue cheese dip is INSANE.

I’ve been here about 3 times. First time getting around to Unilocaling about it. I love it and hate it at the same time. The food is inconsistent. First two times were good then this last time I went it was like they hadn’t changed out their frying oil, the tenders tasted weird, fries were soggy and over salted. We also ordered a chicken Caesar salad and it tasted like 50 anchovies and 50 mayo and cheese. Really weird… My husband and my girls love it so I assume we will be back.

For a fast food joint, this place is good. Chicken is tasty and I really like the multiple sauces offered.

Tasty strips and fries, the kids loved it. I had the Ceaser Salad though and I am NOT a fan! The(homemade?) dressing was overdone, the«cheffed» it up too much! It was too heavy on the seasoning and spices. I love a great Ceaser but the dressing has to be a balance of cream, oil, anchovy, garlic and spices and there was no balance. The funny thing is I had not told my husband about my trip there and a week later he had gone there as well and coincidently ordered the Ceaser salad and thought the same thing. So, I will gladly go back if I am in the mood for fried chicken strips and am in the area but otherwise I wouldn’t make the effort.

Food quality is great, customer service is excellent. Their sweet siracha sauce and creamy garlic are my favorites. Slim Chickens is nearby, I’ve tried both and prefer PDQ. Slim Chickens is unique in that they have more creative deserts as well as waffles but PDQ has much better sauces to me. Chicken tenders are a little small but flavor is great

Pricey for the low quality. I couldn’t finish the chicken sandwich because it tasted bad and just gave it all away. The only thing decent were the fries

Dare i say this is better than Chick-fil-a? Yes, yes it is. Really good quality, very nice inside, friendly service. Cole slaw and fries both really good as sides. Make your own Coke machine is a nice touch.

Its often said we eat with our eyes first and that certainly holds true the minute you walk into PDQ in Cinco Ranch. I couldn’t decide what to order, everything looked soo delicious. The ambiance is clean and inviting. I’ve been to this establishment three times now in the past month and a half. I’ve had three different items each time. I was initially drawn to the crispy and grilled chicken sandwhiches on the menu. However Chicken sandwiches, generally speaking, don’t exist to excite. So I figured I was playing it safe. I had the crispy chicken sandwhich first, absolutely delicious, bursting with flavors!!! I had the Cali Club Chicken sandwhich the second time, the chicken breast was perfectly cooked yet juicy, the avocados, crispy bacon and ranch sauce delivered a mouth watering experience as advertised. The third time around I had the Crispy Chicken Salad, the dressing was dispersed well throughout the salad. It surpasses its close competitor, the Chic-Fila Grilled Market salad. The crispy chicken tenders were soo good I went back and ordered 4 extra tenders with the too die for sweet sirracha sauce. The folks at PDQ absolutely live up to their name, they are dedicated to quality food at an affordable price. The menu items I have tried thus far have been consistent in freshness and quality. The service is up to par as well, the friendly employees get your food out on time.

One of the best restaurant in Katy, and affordable! Katy’s culinary heart has always been missing, something about an exploding growth in a rural farm area seem to always leave small businesses struggling to keep up. From the myriad of terrible Asian, Wings, burger, pizza joints that ranks from terrible to untouchable, PDQ fills in and takes the food scenes on with simple and delicious smart menu items. The Chicken strips are as good as Raising Canes, with sauce to put it’s competition to shame. This is officially the office’s new favorite default lunch stop.

I thought this place was the best thing on a Sunday. So starting off in the drive thru, I took my time to look at the full menu before I pulled around to the attendant and that’s when I was greeted by a young lady chewing food and rushing me for my order and not taking time to answer any questions I had about the menu. The food itself was really good the service was not great but that’s something I feel like they can improve on. The chicken sandwich«the cali«was pretty messy and after biting into it about 2 times it fell apart so it was a really messy situation but it was very good, the flavors were there. Everything was good besides the service and being rush on my first time at a new establishment.

I heard good things about PDQ from some coworkers of mine so I decided to go and try it out for myself. What I received was very disappointing. The fries were tasty, there was a large selection of drinks, but their chicken fingers were tiny and bland. There was nothing special about the chicken that made it worth $ 9 for a four piece chicken tender meal, that included the smallest pieces of chicken I’ve ever received in a meal. Very disappointing… I will be sticking to Cane’s and ChikFila for some good chicken. This place was a waste of money.

We saw PDQ at Cinco Ranch when it was getting built. Decided to go there today with the family and came out not impressed. They are big at chicken strips, but the strips have no taste although they seems to made from good ingredients still the batter had no taste neither did the chicken. I bought Spicy Grilled sandwich, wife got Caesars Chicken Salad, the kids got one kids meal and the other grilled chicken sandwich. The fries were not as crispy, but they were tasty still. The only few good thing happening at PDQ are: great service, and really fast serving. There is literally no wait time, by the time we settled in the booth, the food came out. Tips: every day they have shakes half off after 3:00 pm, on all shakes including speciality shakes. We tried Heath bar and Strawberry shakes, both were hand spun and thick. Really good. Will we go there? — probably not since there wasn’t much flavor in the food. Should you go there? — yes give it a try but keep expectations low.

Here is my review of PDQ. There are plenty of other places where you can get GOOD chicken tenders for this place to even exist.

People Dedicated to Quality, indeed! Clean modern layout. Prices are a tad high for fast food, but also a notch above in terms of quality, so I suppose it’s justified. Tenders melt in your mouth. Sweet Sriracha Sauce is my new favorite condiment! Large portion size salads were fresh. I had the grilled chicken salad. The Blueberry Coleslaw was a little bland compared to the description, but by no means a negative. GREAT experience for fast food spot. I hesitate to even use that term to describe this place.

I liked this place. I was really surprised at the service and quality of food. We had to wait five minutes for fresh food(I don’t mind waiting when the word fresh is involved) and the employees were extremely apologetic. They gave everyone at our table a free cookie and a t-shirt for the kids. Just for waiting five minutes. The only reason they lost a star was because we had to get up a few times to get stuff they had forgotten. Sauces and humorously the chicken from a chicken sandwich. They again were very apologetic about it. The food was fresh and looked prepared in house. The sauces all had a homemade taste, which I loved. Everything tasted great! I was an hour away from home, but I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area.

No reason to go hear over Chick Fil A. They totally screwed-up the order and forgot 2 out of 3 sauces. I see no reason to go here other than perhaps their sauces are amazing. So when they forget to give you 2⁄3 of the sauces, it’s a total waste of time. I won’t return.

I really like this place. I’ve eaten here several times and I’ve had the chance to try different items. Everything I’ve had has been good but the crispy chicken sandwich, the nuggets, the milkshakes and the sauces are the highlight of this restaurant they’re just on a whole nother level!

Sooooooo freakin good!!! Let me first say the service is beyond incredible! The staff was super attentive and had great service. Food Chicken tenders-not too much breading, perfectly seasoned and super juicy. Skinner than Chick fila but way more juicy. The sauces-Honey BBQ was thick, tangy with the perfect amount of sweet, addictive. Buffalo Blue-Think Franks Red Hot with fresh blue cheese chunks mixed in, insane. Honey Mustard-Well balanced between the honey and mustard perfect. Strawberry shake-Big fresh chunks of strawberry in a creamy rich vanilla ice cream that is super great quality. Thick and authentic. They would have gotten one more star if the fries were better, they were good don’t get me wrong but a little too greasy and over cooked. I will be back for sure!!!

We came here as part of a «sneak preview» before they opened to the public, and I can honestly say this place is amazing! They have a wide variety of chicken and turkey products, but their biggest sellers appear to be chicken tenders and nuggets. We had the tenders, nuggets, and California chicken club sandwich, and all were delicious, way tastier than Chick-Fil-A, in my opinion. They also have a wide variety of sauces, our favorite was the sweet sriracha sauce! They have TVs for sports watching, a drive thru, and a neat little kids hand washing station. Try them out, we’ll certainly become regulars here!
