on our way to Thibodaux LA, we stop to get gas and notice there sign, so we stop to get a donut. that was best dam donut i have had in a long time it was amazing as how much filling it had in it wish you where 1000 miles close to were i live

Houston, TX
Donuts, kolaches, variety of milk flavors and a few things more. Everyone knows this doughnut shop in Houston, and this Katy branch is a clone of the others. If you are looking for frills and thrills beyond the common expectations, then stop going to Shipley’s all together! It is a chain business people… expect the same, mundane experience no matter what branch you hit!

If I could give it no stars i would…
How he hell do you screw up a donut… Well they managed to.
First off the donuts were greasy and tasted stale
The workers looked unkept and dirty
And the selection is horrible…
Avoid this place at all costs…

I wish there was a Shipley’s in NYC because I honestly love it soooo much more than Krispy Kreme. That’s right, I said it.
Shipley DO-​Nut Shops are big in Texas. Well, everything is big in Texas, but that’s not my point. My point is is that these donuts are awesome. And cheap. And big. Wait, I’m doing it again. Just do yourself a favor and if you’re ever in Texas and spot a Shipley’s, make an illegal U-​turn and head to it straight away!
Personally I am partial to the ham and cheese kolaches, chocolate covered donuts, plain donuts, and bear claws. Technically, I’m partial to anything covered in chocolate but I’ll save that for a later discussion.

Houston, TX
Great donuts and kolaches, as always. Looks like they remodeled or something, because the place looks empty-​ish. That or they cleared out the customer area. No tables or chairs. Then again, it’s Shipley’s, so no complaints. I want to take this stuff home and just enjoy! Fruit punch, donut holes, and spicy sausage kolaches galore!
