Soft Touch Nails

This place is under new ownership and is absolutely fabulous. Renamed Simply Spa Nails… And definitely deserves the word «spa» in their name. For a standard manicure pedicure combo I have never gotten this much attention or massage.

My sister goes here regularly for her pink and white full set and pedicure. She loves Mimi!
She recommended Mimi to me and she is amazing!!! I recently went for the first time a few days ago for a full set and the deluxe pedicure. Omg! She is so talented!
The salon that I normally go to usually would take 2+ hours to finish and Mimi did everything in just 1 hour! I never felt rushed, instead I felt pampered!
Best salon in town!

I will never ever go here. I went in today to correct a design I had received somewhere else. It was on my two ring fingers, and I wanted them shaped as well. First, when I entered I was the one to say Hello to the young lady approaching, not her. It was awkward. When she came near she had a face that looked like she didn’t want to wait on me– Walking slow, eyebrows were crossed tightly for a mean expression.
That should have been the time to leave but I was on lunch and thought it would be a quick easy fix.
I asked the wait and she said a few min– Only one lady was getting a pedi, two staff members were here.
I sat down and the male technician motioned for me to sit at a station. He took a look at my nails and went to work.
I’ve had my nails done quite a bit, so I’m very cordial and relaxed and open to any suggestions or small talk if they want to engage in conversation.
He said something next that really stung me, or any other woman getting her nails done:
When he wrapped up, he said very clearly, «Well that’s the best I could do from what was presented to me»
Ouch
I make it equivalent to a hairstylist stating to a paying customer «Well, that’s all I could do from what I had to work with»
Mind you, I just needed 2 white flower designs removed, and my acrylic nails shaped a bit more. I just had them done 3 days ago from today’s date they were far from being in bad repair.
Very rude, not professional, and I will let all know to NOT to go here
* They have had management change, I have been here before when the owner would do my nails and the staff at the time were extremely friendly. Now it’s dark, dirty, smells bad, and missing the old staff
