The Storybook Cottage

The place is really cute, great for a small party. But I agree about the girls that work there, they look like they are force to do that. I think the owner should pay more attention. If you want to celebrate your princess in here, come prepared to be the hostess, entertainer, and the one who keeps up with activities. Not worth the drive.

My 5 yr old niece had her birthday there this Sunday & I have to say it was the most precious birthday I’ve ever been to for a little girl! The 2 hostesses, Lauren & Natalie, were attentive and sweet with the girls and held their attention the whole time, which surprised us moms since the youngest was 2−½ & the oldest 7. The venue is so sweet, decorated in pink & frills that little girls like. The attention to detail with decorations & the tea party set-​up was fantastic. From the wide selection of princess dresses, shoes, purses & jewelry (tiara’s a must!) to the nail polishing & fairy dust, fashion show, cupcake decorating/​tea party, Pinkalicious book reading & present opening, the hostesses really did a fantastic job with the girls & when they were all able to walk out with a multi-​ribboned butterfly halo, well, the moms were all jealous! We only wished we could have a princess tea party too!
The ONLY suggestion I would make here is that the music that was played during the cupcake decorating/​tea party would have been more appropriate to «princesses». It was more contemporary, teen-​style music than little girl appropriate.

My niece had a birthday party here and she had a good time. Its small in the inside because its pretty much a house. They had the girls get dressed up and put on a fashion show, it was really adorable. Then they had a tea party and made little frames.
The girls that worked there had snarky attitudes but I didnt have to pay them so I ignored it. As long as my niece enjoyed herself thats all that matters. They should think about planning more creative activities for the girls.
But overall, this is a cute concept.
