There’s nothing really quite special about the place! It has everything you need from candy to cosmetics and it’s pretty convenient! I remember when they first built the place years ago and I was real excited because I no longer had to drive 15
minutes to the nearest Walgreens! This one is right on Pin Oak, less than 5 minutes from where I live and pretty convenient for travelers on I-​10. You can’t go wrong with their awesome deals on candy, nail polish, travel sized hair products and more. I like coming here when I need something on the go and it’s better than going to a bigger store to get an item of two (in my opinion). The staff seems pretty friendly and I’ve had no problems at all.
Overall there’s nothing that says WOW! about this Walgreens. Just your ordinary little store and pharmacy right down the street!

Oh Walgreens. How I hate you. You always do manage to screw me over on prescriptions, be late on my pickups, be out of the meds I need after calling a week in advance. I’ve tried different Katy locations, locations in Austin and in Miami. It’s not a single location’s problem. it’s company wide. I wish I didn’t need you.
This location doesn’t have a drive thru but is close to the mall, and has a newer looking pharmacy area.

The head pharmacist lady is really unfriendly. She interrogates you in regards to your prescription like I am a pillhead or something. It wasn’t for anything bad, it was for blood pressure medicine! I don’t think it’s necessary to berate me and scold me in front of strangers. It was for blood pressure medicine for crying out loud!

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! My husband’s prescription was called in yesterday. He called today to find out what the status was and, lo and behold, it was forgotten. When he inquired about why, there was a delay, he was told «we were really busy. Your medicine will be ready in one hour.» I am disappointed with this location. I myself experienced unprofessionalism at this Walgreen’s. I am not sure if I should find another Walgreens or use a completely different pharmaceutical company.

I have been a regular Walgreens patron for years, but this location caused me to transfer my pharmacy business elsewhere.
The wait in the drive-​thru pharmacy lane is about 10 minutes per car. It’s a bit better if you go inside, but the staff is clearly not in any hurry to move the lines along.
They have misplaced my a prescription, and once the doctor called it in, they lost that one too. They have even given me the wrong prescriptions, and one in the name of another person.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt for quite a while, but over the past year nothing has changed.

This has to be the worst Walgreens in existence! Wait times are ridiculous; pharmacy hours are ridiculous; get prescriptions wrong; what less could you want in a pharmacy? If I could give negative stars I would.

I will admit, going to Walgreens is not so glamorous. I can’t pass up their weekly deals on household essentials: paper plates, soda, floor cleaner, Pringles, etc. While it takes a little organization to make a list and stick to it, I really think I’m saving some cash. And yes, some Walgreens are stocked better than others and some locations can have friendlier cashiers than others, but this location had a particularly rude cashier and for that I’m knocking down some stars.
Long story short, always check the prices that ring up, because it’s easy for something like a bar of soap or a padded mailer to be on sale and not be in the system. The «lead cashier”(according to her name badge title) actually told me that she «highly doubted» that all the padded mailers of different sizes were on sale for the same price. But ya know what? Once the prices were verfied, they were indeed on sale. Yup, all 3 different sizes and for the same sale price. She was not very nice about it and while I can deal with some rudeness, I can’t pass up the bargains, so I will likely return. *Sigh. *
Pros of this Walgreens: they are well-​stocked with items that you wont find at other locations
Cons: Don’t expect warm and fuzzy cashier interactions. (but you can buy some warm and fuzzy socks. and hey look. they’re on sale. but check the price. lol)

I have never been so insulted in my life until I walked into this Walgreens today. I asked for $ 10 cash back to go with my tic tacs. Instead of giving me the requested $ 10, Walgreens decided to donate my money to charity. I went up to the customer service desk (which is an oxymoron) and instead of getting my refund the 2 grown ladies decided to laugh in my face and insist I’m stupid and should learn how to read because this NEVER happens to anyone else. so I leave and as I walk out a disgruntled customer turns to me and says «it happened to us too». So now I am 1 of 2 «idiots» that most establishments would call «customers»…well this idiot is taking his business elsewhere maybe a place that gives you what you asked for.

Good staff, has everything I need. I just think that they put it in the wrong spot on the map! It’s on the other side of Pin Oak.
