Best fast food hot dogs anywhere! Not those namby pamby skinny hot dogs. These are the real thing. They split them open and actually grill them! Even better than Tom’s. Service is pretty fast considering they put them on the grill after I order. I gave 4 stars only because they don’t serve Coke products! It’s a good thing I don’t live in Kaukauna because I’d be there all the time!

I give Dick’s a 4 star review mostly based upon sentimentality. This is an old fashioned drive in that I grew up only a few blocks from. No better memories than riding bicycles to Dick’s with neighborhood kids for a burger or ice cream. A different time when as a child you went out to play and came in when you heard your parents yell or the street lights came on. Dick’s has remained pretty consistent over the years. This is definitely drive in food. It’s probably not as good as the reminiscing I get from coming back but I say it is decent fast food. Order the large french fries and you get an order big enough for two. Something fun about eating on the picnic tables and watching the world go by.

this place is awesome I went here today I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was really very good all they really have is outdoor seating but I like it one of the best chocolate shakes I ever tasted.

Not much choice in terms of ice cream flavors. They have vanilla and chocolate soft serve and a few different sundae options, but we’ve had better. Be prepared for mediocre service from high school students who are learning the value of customer service.

Classic drive in(but not drive through). My family can get a bunch of food for less than $ 20. I like the fries and the family size really feeds a family. The hamburgers and ice cream are good too. My dad brings me here because he grew up coming here. A good place for kids.

Small town drive in OR over priced and will nickel and dime you to DEATH I have gone here a few times in the last few years but this weekend I have had it. Last year I returned a butterscotch shake thinking it was just a vanilla and i got it on accident and expecting them to remake the correct flavor, instead they told me if I wanted more butterscotch I had to pay extra, I’m guessing people complain a lot about no flavor if that is the first response. The other day my wife asked for a cup of water they said NO, she had to buy a bottle. I asked for an extra cup for my 2 small kids, THEYCHARGEDMEFOR A CUP!!! Next time I will go to one of the MANY actual family run diners! blocks away from Dicks. The burgers taste like processed garbage!

Took the family here for the first time. We were missing The Dairy Inn since it closed last year in Green Bay. The main reason we came here was for a good MALT, not some commercial grade SHAKE. We had both Butterscotch and Caramel MALTS and they were perfect. We also had a Family Pack of cheeseburgers and fries. They were good burgers, but nothing I would rave over, or complain about either way. There were enough french fries for two families. The whole meal for the four of us was $ 21. BTW, bring cash, NOCREDITCARDS, or Out-Of-Town Checks. The people in line in front of us didn’t get this concept, slowed everyone down and ended up leaving without any food. Don’t be those people. Also, don’t let the line out the door and across the parking lot keep you from stopping in, Dick’s staff(ok, that sounded bad) are very fast at getting orders out, so the line moves quite quickly.

Dick’s is a Kaukauna legend. The portions aren’t the size they used to be but it’s still great tasting and cheap.

If you like small town local quick burger joints… This is it! Dick’s is a Kaukauna institution. It’s not prime rib, and it’s not fancy… It’s a danged good family friendly burger, fry, ice cream, malt kind of place and I love it. One of the best parts of summer in the Kaukauna area.

Yuck. I came here for real ice cream(mind you in the dairy state) only to discover that only soft serve was in order. I would have left for another place, but it was nearly 10pm on a Monday night and no other place was open. The joint is a drive in(no sit down area) staffed by high schoolers. After finally deciding to order a sundae and expecting the worst, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the soft serve was after all. Make sure h to get it with hot fudge and nuts.

We’re hooked! I don’t know how they do it, but the soft serve is noticeably better-tasting than elsewhere. And the price is best around for a huge«large» cone. Classic drive-in setting; reminds me of way back. Be prepared with cash: they don’t take credit/debit cards.

It’s not for the health conscious, but it’s good damn food. I’ve always had a special spot in my heart for Dick’s: the meat there is always delicious and the ice cream is great on a summer day – which is the best time to go to Dick’s. This is the restaurant that specifically defines Kaukauna as what it is: a good-old fashioned Wisconsin town. While there’s not much to do in this town, there’s always Dick’s and it never disappoints.

Great drive-in restaurant! Dick’s is open for a(long) summer season– they open in Spring and close the end of November. The soft serve is excellent and they feature burgers, fries and sandwiches. There’s no place to sit inside– you order at the inside window(there’s a very small lobby area) and then either take your food with you or enjoy it at one of the picnic tables in the back. They’re open late in summer and are a definite hot spot in Kaukauna.
