I don’t know whether to be confused or disappointed. Our local elementary school sent out a flyer stating that Lisa’s Passion for Popcorn would donate a small bag of popcorn for every book the students brought in to donate to a local school. I read the flyer to my kids and they were super excited. We decided that we would head in there as soon as school was out today, so I had them each pick out a book to donate and we went. After we got inside and waited for a bit, a girl came out and said they had received more books than they expected and they ran out of popcorn, so they decided to end the promotion. The irony was astounding. The walls were literally lined with popcorn, and more was being popped in the back as she said this. Try imagining what it was like to walk out of the store with 3 very confused kids, all wondering why they didn’t get any popcorn, and attempt to explain to them that the store was out of popcorn, despite the entire place being full of popcorn. Again, I don’t know what to feel, but I think confused and disappointed both fit the bill. If you are going to advertise a promotion, ESPECIALLY to kids, you should anticipate honoring that promotion. And at the very least don’t use«we ran out of popcorn» as your excuse when the kids can clearly see popcorn in every direction they look.

Great popcorn here! I love that we can get quality and delicious popcorn that’s priced fairly here! The prices at this location are cheaper than the other locations you’ll find it(such as at local hospitals in the gift shops, at the Sweet Tooth Fairy, and even at the Kaysville theatre(they don’t mark it up too much more there though). They will also let you try samples of the popcorn(as long as they have it in the bulk bins and not all packaged up yet). The staff is usually younger kids but they seem to be pretty patient and polite when you go in. The selection is great too. Usually at least 8 different flavors everything from cheese flavors, candy flavors, nut mixed flavors, and even chocolate flavors! They also sometimes have toffee. This place is definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area.
