The waitress was super sweet and really jovial! The food was simply awful! I ordered the salmon and it was very undercooked! Yuck! My friend’s husband had the salmon too and got sick. Not being from this town I get there aren’t a ton of options, but if you are going to charge five star prices, at least take some pride in what you serve.

First of all the staff was friendly, especially our waitress Tina. She did a great job and was on top of everything even though she had 7 tables. I am giving a 3 star because of how bland the ribeye that I got was. I have had more flavor from a ponderosa steak. It was a great cut of meat, and even cooked to my liking. But there was no seasonings used on it at all. Here is my suggestion, at least use salt, pepper and garlic. Better yet some olive oil, werstechire sauce and the previous mentioned. It would have been perfect if it had some flavor. And the baked potato was not completely cooked.

Wife and myself in for lunch today. Had been a while. Shortage of time, so buffet choice. Was just ok. Better some ways, maybe salad area. We sat in bar area and had real good service.

The staff was very friendly and I loved the atmosphere except for the table full of young children who were up running around. I really wanted to like the food but sadly I just did not. My husband’s steak was really tough and my pork was fatty and had an overpowering garlic taste. His baked potato wasn’t quite done and they had apparently run out of bread. The salad bar was nothing special with what appeared to be alot of pre packaged foods. I’m not going to say I won’t return, I’m just sure that if we do we’ll both be ordering something completely different.

Stopped in for dinner on a quick visit to Kearney. Staff was very friendly. Great salad bar. Large selection of salads and very fresh. Nice bar area. Busy on a Thursday night.

Right on the brick road in downtown. Great old time feel and atmosphere. Great service and the waitress was so nice! Had the prime rib for $ 26.99. Nice cut and well prepared. This is what Nebraska beef is all about. To start out, they had a nice soup and salad bar. Salad was fresh and a great way to start the meal.

Had lunch here while in town for business. The lunch buffet and salad bar was really fresh even within 20 mins of closing. Service was great too. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in town.

I went to this restaurant with 3 coworkers. It took an hour for our food to arrive… it was cold! One guy was served RAWCHICKEN! My chicken was burnt to a crisp(and cold). We had old dry fish and an over cooked steak. There were very few people in the restaurant, yet we had poor service. DON’T EATHERE!!! A day later and I’m still paying for it!!!

As much as I’d like to give a great review, this did not met expectations. Their Saturday lunch buffet was literally a cold cut sandwich buffet, lack luster at best. So, I went with the prime rib philly to be safe. They found a way to exclude all possible flavor, no bueno. My 2yr old wanted mini corn dogs but the ran out, the waitress wasn’t friendly and overall service was no good. The only thing that had going was the nice building and awesome bus boy! Hate to give up on them.

Best in town. Lunch specials everyday and the salad bar/buffet is great! Lunch is very fairly priced. Suppers are a bit more pricey, but that is only compared to other cities where comparable meals would cost twice as much or more. Superb service and good atmosphere.

I ate dinner here when I was in Kearney for work. Service was great. Our server was really on top it, which was especially impressive because we had 10 people in our party. We ordered he tequila shrimp as an appetizer just so that we could watch our server cook it(and set it on fire) right in front of us. The shrimp was pretty good. For such a nice place, I will say I was a little surprised that the salad included with the dinner is a saad bar. Kind of made it seem like sizzler or something. I ordered the scallops for my mail course. Was not terribly impressed with it. It was pretty good, I just kind of thought it would be better. If I could, I’d probably give this place a 3.5 stars.

On our road trip from Lincoln to North Platte, we discovered this gem in Kearney! The best salad bar ever! Not only an amazing selection of items but the salad bar was constantly replenished and kept clean. There are many salad bars everywhere but most do not have the selection or the delicious dressings offered at Alley Rose. My daughter had the tenderloin Carmella and I had their special clam strip diavolo. Both were delicious but I had to limit myself so I could enjoy more of the salad! All this great food and the wonderful staff made this stop our best«find».

Was greeted pleasantly and also seated quickly. I went here originally because the wine list was to be good. The bottle list fits that description, however the glass list isn’t. Savannah did a good job of giving different wine options and also food recommendations. I did a sub of the risotto for the mashed potatoes and found out when the bill showed up that there was an up-charge for this change. The salad bar was fresh and the bread was a pleasant surprise. When the Osso Buco showed up, it was great. However both the green beans and risotto had a temperature that indicated they were plated awhile prior to the Osso Buco being finished. When Savannah checked with me on my meal, I mentioned the temperature issue and she informed what I assume was a manager. My beans were replaced as requested, at a much better temp. Atmosphere was good.

Omg this place is hilarious. I’ve been to my share of «fine dining» restaurants back in my home state of California(Laguna Beach!) and this place is a joke. We ordered the cordon bleu, which tasted very bland and the veggies were gross. Many of their wines were wayyyyyy overpriced and sold only by the bottle. The salad bar was weird… never been to this type of restaurant in which I had to get my own salad. Prices were pretty ridiculous for the quality. Best part of all *sarcasm*, we got sick after eating here. The piano was ridiculous, the décor was tacky, the food was bad, prices were bad… not coming back here again.

My favorite happy hour in Kearney. The Martinis and hot toddies are always yummy and they have a great wine menu.

The good: Riley, who was our server. She is just one of those people who exudes sunshine. She was attentive, down to earth, fun, humorous, adorable — probably one of my favorite servers to date! If you eat there, ask to be seated with her. My family came in about 15 minutes before they closed and the kitchen was really nice and accommodating. The bad: The elderly woman who was the hostess. Maybe we caught her on an off day, but she seemed like she would rather set us on fire than seat us.

I’d rather buy a piece of meat in Walmart. Had two orders. One was a burned steak and another was a uncooked cold rib. I will never come to here again.

We stopped in while on our drive through the entire state of NE. It was well worth it. When you walk in, you can choose to be seated in the dining room or the bar. We chose the bar area where the atmosphere was very relaxed and lively(with great music). Everyone who worked there was so friendly. I ordered a burger and my husband ordered a plain-jane steak, and both were to perfection. We also had the beef stew which was incredibly delicious – not a dish I usually take time to think about! If we didn’t need to get back on the road, I would have stayed for a few beers. If I’m ever in Kearney again, I’ll be at the Alleyrose!
