I love Big Nick’s pizza. The pizza was totally fresh. The sauce was perfect, the cheese was fresh and the crust was oh my God soft and full of goodness!

Let’s be clear — I’m from Kentucky so I don’t know from NY style pizza but this was delicious! The salad was outstanding and delivery was fast — even to our hotel!

Got a phone call from the owner himself after he heard I was not 1000% satisfied with one of the kids who’s takes orders. He called me up and made everything right. As always the pizza was amazing. The chicken vodka sandwich was flawless and I’m happy that I can go back to my favorite pizza place around. Very happy to know that the owner takes that much pride in his business and making sure his customers are satisfied. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know.

I was not impressed with this place. The chicken parm was dried out and the service was lacking.

Excellent, thin crust pizza. Nicely foldable crust. Flavorful sauce and cheese. Very reasonable prices, and quick service. A pity they are not open later.

I order Big Nicks a lot, since I work in town. I have to say, except for forgetting to bring my can of coke a few times, I have never had a problem. There food is really good and I especially love the chicken vodka sandwich. The delivery is really speedy too… I don’t think I’ve ever waited for more than 20 minutes for my food to arrive. It’s hard to find a place that makes good subs and they do! Definitely my go to place when I don’t bring in lunch to work.

Their calamari is the worst I have ever tasted. Old and dry. I’m afraid to try anything else.

In the amateur poetic mood… Don’t look for signs or you might pass by, look inside the window for the big pizza guy. Slices are long, slices were big, $ 2.25 per slice, $ 1.25 can of soda, into my pocket I had to dig. Good flavor, tasty dough, could’ve been crispier though. The short and the long is at Big Nicks you won’t go wrong.

Still my favorite place for pizza, again delivered as promised. IF you live in Kearny don’t look any further stop and check it your self.

Curly fries are great. Pizza is okay. Could use it done a lil more on the bottom. Love the chairs/table look. I saw some salads that came out for others & it looked really good n presentable. I’d try it again.

Big Nicks has the absolute best thin crust pizza locally rivals star pizza. Deliver fast and drivers are courteous. Order at least twice a week.

Grabbed a pizza for carry out. The service was quick and the pizza was decent. Its a standard thin crust. I believe it is the best pizza in the Harrison Kearny area I have had out of the 6 – 7 I have tried around town.

If you want pizza– REAL pizza, this is the best and only place to get it. Everywhere else in town does not serve New York Style Pizza like Big Nick’s does and after eating here for years, I refuse to order pizza from anywhere else. The place looks like an other small town pizza joint and also serves a variety of other food besides pizza. Fountain soda and bottled drinks are available and there’s a couple of tables inside. Also, Another reviewer posted that the pizza here was packed with flavor and I have to whole-heartily agree. You can’t go wrong with a plain pie here, but if you decide to get fancy– try the thin crust pizza– it’s way better than Pizzaland’s and delicious enough to eat all by yourself. The only less than stellar point I’d like to mention is: Be careful with the toppings or before you know it you’ll be paying $ 21 for a pizza.

LOVEALLTHESPECIALTYPIZZAS! Nick, I don’t know which one is you, but I want to kiss you! These pizzas put all else to shame! I don’t know how they do it, but the Philly Cheesesteak pizza is as good as it gets! Remember to bring cash – there’s an ATM at the Schuyler Bank just up the street. LOVE!

Their pizza’s are delicious and their prices are shockingly cheap. You really do get a bang for your buck. I just received my delivery of a chicken parm sandwich and two slices of pizza for only 11.50 and the sandwich was huge and packed with flavor. I’m surprised that there are very few reviews for this place. Treat your senses, you won’t regret it.

Be careful driving by… Big Nicks is pretty nondescript from the outside, and if you aren’t looking for the place… you may pass it up. That said, they make a terrific slice of pizza here. The slices are made from a 24″ pie, so they are pretty big. Nice crispy crust, cheesy and a well seasoned sauce make for an enjoyable experience. I’ve also tried the chicken parm sandwich, and that hit the spot as well. Counter folks are friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a stop when you are in the area.
