Not sure why it took so long for me to review this place but I every time I order from there the food is hot and delicious. I remember during the coldest day of this past winter (where they warned everyone to stay inside) I layered up and make the 2 block trek to Chicken Galore for a family dinner to grub on with the roommate and when I got there to pick it up they threw in a free large mashed potatoes.
Small things like that and the friendly attitude are what will keep me coming back. Not to mention the place is clean. If you didn’t see the fryers you wouldn’t know they were a fried food joint.

After 50 years the service is still excellent fast hot delivery, fresh food always. Good variety of fried seafood and chicken combinations, Great french fries and shrimp and the is order always correct! Nice to see a place that appreciates your business!

I order from here every once in awhile and I get it delivered. The food is always hot when I receive the delivery and the chicken is just oh my gooodness… PHENOMENAL!!! My husband loves their fall off the bone ribs and he’s very picky… The owners often throw you in little extras as a surprise and the Staff is rushing you on the phone but I know they are so very busy. When you go in person you get the extra star treatment and they take their time with you. Once last thing I have to say is the ORDER IS ALWAYS RIGHT and that’s a big plus in my book…

You have not lived till you have had a bucket of chicken from here! Been eating from here since I was little and it’s still fantastic. Other chicken places can never compare to here! Whoever gives less than 5 stars is deff out of their mind or just enjoy complaining… Go see for yourself!

I’ve gone here twice in the past 2 weeks and I am a fan. Their chicken was really tender and juicy and there’s a sauce they gave me when I ordered a combo. That was fantastic. I might actually have to go back and buy one of those jars.

Wow… Just ordered delivery … I ordered from a current menu… they also included a menu with my order… my calculations with tax 26.43…delivery guy gets here and tells me its 29.95??? So I call… ok well the chicken & ribs family special is no longer 21.95…its 22.95…even tho the menu they included in my order states 21.95. And now the delivery charge to Lyndhurst from Kearny is $ 2.00… There was no delivery charge when I ordered 2 weeks ago. Chicken used to be good… at these prices & to get overdone dried out chicken… not worth it… buyer beware lol I just noticed that they put a sticker on the front of their menu… Some prices are slightly higher then the menu prices… WTH??? Last time for me.

This place has had its fame and its shot in town. Not a real popular place if you ask me. Mostly High school kids come here to eat. I rather get the bbq chicken down the block at Boa Vista.

Best alternative to chain chicken places. Very greasy, but great food. Good delivery times. Good prices.
