first time here. the place is TINY but i got a great check up and a BIG variety of glasses. the girls helped me choose frame they def know what they are talking about. see ya next year !

Bad taste in my mouth and I didn’t even get there yet. Made the appointment months ago and was looking forward to going tomorrow. I get two emails from their office over the course of today telling me that I «have to» call them back. The second one was a snippy«This is the second message we are leaving». I’ve been at work all day. I called them back and said«What would have happened if I didn’t call you back?» I received a terse«Then we would have cancelled your appointment». I said«Um, I’m the one who initiated this appointment so of course I’m going to come». They said that there are«other people waiting three months for an appointment» as if I’m just gumming up the works, some other stupid chart to file. It was my first appointment too. I got off the phone, called right back and cancelled my appointment for tomorrow at 2:15 and my girlfriend’s for next Tuesday at 2:15. Lost my business. On a brighter note, if anyone on the three month waiting list is DYING to see Dr. Edward Maslansky, two appointments just opened up!

The service is very hit or miss with this office and I am sad to say so. A lot of the receptionists seem to have real attitudes when they call, giving the impression that they hate what they do(even if you do, it just looks very unprofessional when the customer is able to detect this). The interior of the office is quite cramped and overwhelmed with documents spilling out of the shelves — definitely in need of some upgrades. The appointment book is still manual and several women have to share the receptionist area although it is really made for 2 people tops. Last time I was here, I called them to make sure they knew I was coming and they had the appropriate forms filled out so that I could be in and out as quickly as possible(and they confirmed they did have it, but when I arrived at night to pick up the information, it was not completed and I had to wait around while they clarified what went wrong. Thankfully, one of the receptionists was kind enough to make me a new one so I could be on my way and not have to make a second trip back to the office. The optometrists are great, I am particularly fond of the female optometrist because she is very thorough and would rather go out of her way to try to make you as comfortable as possible. Always provides you with options and takes time to ensure you understand what health your eyes are in and what is the best option for you. I have been going here for years because they are very convenient, but may choose to switch to someone else if I have to deal with attitude or if they continue to confirm stuff is completed when it isn’t.
