I’ve been looking for a good ski school for my wife to build up her confidence and skiing techniques to start the season. I feel bad seeing her doing the«pizza» all the time coz that’s what she learned in the ski lessons that she had in BlueMountain last year. So I was still leery about lessons they give at the ski resorts for all they teach is how to do the pizza all day and they don’t care if you really learn or not. Until I contacted Chris the instructor from Maven Ski School online. Chris is very knowledgable and has a lot of patience. I don’t think he is in the business just to make money but this guy has a great passion in skiing which he wants to share. His rates are very reasonable compared to how much they charge at resorts. My wife had a group lesson with him in Stratton, VT November 2012 and a private lesson in Camelback last week. I can’t believe how much she progressed she’s not even doing the«pizza» stop anymore. She’s parallel skiing now and making rounded turns! Im highly recommending Maven Ski School to everybody out there! btw Chris also taught my 5 year old daughter how to ski :)
