West Hudson Park

West Hudson Park is a nice park. It’s a great spot for the communities of Harrison and Kearny to relax and/​or get in some physical activity. There are picnic areas, walkways, and a lake (Fairy Lake). There are also a bunch of athletic fields for baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and tennis. There’s also a playground and a spray pool for kids.

This is a nice little park one you can fish walk jog play basketball baseball and in a playground. This park covers two towns Harrison and Kearny. Ducks and geese swim here and people feed them. You can see robins, sparrows, finches and other birds. They stock the pond with trout the pond also holds carps, bullhead catfish, sunnies and turtles. A fishing license with a trout stamp is need as it is freshwater and if you plan on keeping the trout. Take the family for a nice stroll introduce the youngsters to the great sport of fishing it’s a good pond to do so.

This is a nice little park in Kearny and Harrison. If you are in the are and are looking for a place to walk the dogs or sit in the grass and read a book, West Hudson is a great place.

Good park to relax, enjoy the birds, ducks or take a run in the park. The park features a play area, to play basketball. It also has a tennis court. It’s a large park

Beautiful & relaxing. I come here to sit down and have my lunch. It’s so spacious and you can sit in all different locations. I like to sit under the deck and watch the squirrels run around and the beautiful birds with the red chests.

I’m old enough to remember when the house near the playground actually had a family living in it. (Now it’s tattered and boarded up.)
This is a damn fine park… two playgrounds at each end (the one near the aforementioned house is newer and much larger), a solid water park (which is free), tennis courts, a pond (filled with various fish and creatures), and lots of space to do your thing.
Definitely worth a visit.
