This place is bizarre. The sign out front that says now looking for help tells it all. They are looking for more staff and most of the staff here seems like they need professional help. Went in to get fabric, walked around the store without seeing anyone. Finally some older frumpy trolly woman stocking came out to continue stocking or something, i couldn’t really tell what she was doing. Anyways she reluctantly with a big sigh went to the register to check us out. Another big sigh when we asked for the fabric cut. Actually pushed my fiances purse off the counter to cut the fabric (on purpose) and then sort of threw the receipt at us and «literally’ ran away. Totally the weirdest experience shopping maybe of my life, the woman acted and looked like she had lived in the woods for the last 10 years.

Yesterday while in Keene we decided to stop in at Joann Fabrics to look for a few items. As the previous review says, this store is fairly small in comparison to others, but they had a ton of sales. Our goal in coming to the store was to find duck canvas. They had a ton of different colors and we easily found the ones we were looking for.
The staff here was polite, but definitely unique. We were the only ones in the store and had to pull a ticket to get served. It was a bit much but overall the experience was good.

Pros:
Good sales. If you want a coupon & forgot yours at home, ask one of the staff member’s if they have an extra.
Decent selection.
Cons:
It’s small. Smaller than the one on 101A in Nashua so they have less of a selection.
It’s often quite messy.
Bought 15 or so different fabrics from the clearance section when it was an additional 50% off once. Some of the fabrics rang in correctly but many didn’t — I guess they’d just been marked down that day & weren’t in the system yet. Realized it at the car, & went back in. The woman was very apologetic but so slow about figuring out how to fix the issue (20 minutes). At one point she thought she fixed it but she was off by over $ 20 & had to re-​fix it. It was a long trip.
