The truffles are to die for. The pumpkin and the key lime were delish. Would definitely go back. The only thing is that it says homemade chocolate but when we asked if they make it there they said no. Also the person behind the counter didn’t seem too excited to be there.

What a great little shop! It’s not just candies, but home made fudge and some wonderful pastries and baked goods(I had a chocolate and hazelnut beignet that was amazing!). In addition to the standard offerings they had a great selection of retro and foreign candies and treats — be sure to check them out.

Clean, bright, friendly atmosphere with a great selection of goodies and treats! Prices could be less expensive, but for an «every so often» sweet treat trip, I don’t mind paying the price. Have not tried the baked goods, fudge or ice-cream, but plan to do so eventually :)

Great cupcakes with unique flavors. I really like their icing for the cupcakes. Probably the best desert spot in the area, and it’s nicely located right next to The Stage.

I can’t comment on their baked goods, but I come in frequently for their English imports(Crisps, soda, and candy!) all stuff I’ve been missing since my last trip to the UK! Moving to Keene from Buffalo, I needed a place to replace Wegmans for my Cadbury fix. Imagine my joy at finding this little shop right by my apartment! I’ve had their ice creams here as well and they are good! This is one of my favourite shops in Keene and I will keep coming back!

Stopped by for the first time on Sunday and was underwhelmed. The cupcakes were hard with overly sweet icing. My husband bought fudge which was so dried out that it crumbled when we tried cutting into it. We should have asked for a sample first. For $ 14.00 per pound we expected better. Will not be returning. Disappointed.

This establishment is bright and cheery with a fun layout. There is an entire wall of different candies that are all priced the same by weight, encouraging you to fill a bag with wild abandon, throwing in all kinds of different goodies. There’s also some interesting imported beverages and candies from Japan and the UK(and perhaps elsewhere, I don’t recall), so it’s a good place to find something new.

Old fashioned and smallish but man do they have variety! Fudge, candy galore, cupcakes, and then, the ICECREAM. For a $ 1 more– unlimited toppings bar ~ kids were in heaven!!! This places gets it right and has it all!

Requested delivery of cupcakes to a sickly relative who was in Keene Hospital. Was delivered — on time! To correct place! For reasonable fee! Will order again. She is willing to deliver to West Wood too! For this relative, a cupcake is such a treat compared to the blah food served in her dining hall. Also, they have«old time» treats that she recognizes from way back when. Two thumbs up from me!

I’ll admit it, I’m a sucker for their cupcakes. I had one bad experience. I put in an order for late night delivery and they never showed up. The owner not only apologized, but she gave me my half dozen cupcakes the next day AND sh gave me a full refund. Customer service? Oh hell yes. After that, I was hooked. It’s one thing for a business to mess up and then try to get out of it, it’s another for them to bend over backwards to make you feel like you are their most important customer. This is why a couple weeks after this happened I made a special order for cupcakes for my niece’s birthday(which was a big hit!) and I still continue to frequent their cupcake selection. If she had told me to pound sand, I would not have gone back. Fantastic service! Even better cupcakes!

This review is based on when they were in their old location. I haven’t been there since they moved & I’ve not tried their cupcakes for chocolates. One of my favorite«treat» spots in Keene. The best selection of «penny» candy ever! New, fun things like candy Legos & an array of «foreign» candies plus lots of «old» standards like wax bottles, Swedish fish, jaw breakers, dots, gum balls, sour patch kids, Mexican hats, etc. The loose candy you pay for by weight & yes, it is a tad pricey but it’s a really fun treat to do every once in a while with the kids & totally worth the expense. So much fun! Love this place & the owner is so friendly.

Your standard sweet shop with lots of «penny» candy and a few handfuls of imported goodies from Japan and Europe, which does make it more interesting. I wish the setting were a little more welcoming. Kinda bright, white and clinical. I get the feeling that I’m going to be wheeled about on a gurney to select my last meal just before the surgery. Cupcakes are tasty but tiny. Limited, but good, selection of chocolates. However… Hood’s ice cream??? Yikes!!! Thanks, but no thanks! Four stars for simply being a candy store. Minus one star for Hood’s ice cream.

Tracy(the owner) is a awesome!!! She made the cupcakes for our wedding, everyone raved about them! She makes a really great variety of flavors, something for everyone! The candy is great, so retro, so many kinds of candy! I am more of a cupcake person & I can’t say enough about how great hers are and how sweet and helpful Tracy is, 5 stars is an easy assessment, just try a cupcake for yourself!

Haven’t been to the candy shop but I asked a friend of mine passing through Keene to stop and get me some cupcakes. The batch was mixed; one chocolate based cupcake was moist and delicious and the other was really dry. The frosting on all the cupcakes was a little bit gritty for my taste. In all they were ok cupcakes. I’d like to visit the candy shop at some point.

This is place is a throwback to your grandmother’s candy store. Even the location(under an old theater) is great. Hard to find candies and old fashioned décor make this place a keeper.
