1st time visiting tonight with my wife and found the place to be a delight. The waitress was cheerful, very incentive, and a hot Italian. I had spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had some sort of usual chicken dish she likes to get. The mixed drinks were great and so we’re the appetizers. We would visit this place again.

Great atmosphere, good value, average food. We ordered rhode island calamari(with hot pepper and oil) which was decent for apps. Crunchy, golden, and breaded lightly. The Seafood Diavolo came with jumbo shrimp, scallops, and mussels in a spicy tomato sauce. The meal was very large, and impressive. The dish itself was average at best tasting, but good. The bar area is really nice as well. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. As far as returning for another try, it will probably be a while. I wasn’t thrilled with the menu and there are so many other places to try. Nothing here is enough to bring me back in a hurry, except maybe the bar.

Nice atmosphere for large groups. If you and a dozen coworkers want to go out and eat, drink, and celebrate you’ll like the place. My favorite dish is chicken Olympia, and the apps are decent as well. We go a couple times a year.

So just left papa Gallo and I feel like I’m going to have a stomach problem. Had to be the worst pizza I ever had with a side of oil. Why can’t this pizza place make real dough instead ready made shells and so called brick oven lol. Apps were awful waiter spilled drink all over table. So the bird out front says it all instead it should be taking a dump want my money back.

Overrated! Stays busy based on lack of great restaurants in town the pizza is okay… service is okay but was I that impressed? No!!!

First time here. Service was great and gave awesome recommendations. I loved that you get a side salad with your entrée. Dressing was homemade and yummy. I had shrimp scampi, full of flavor. Big shrimp and added broccoli made the dish perfect. My husband had chicken Parmesan. Huge piece of chicken with nice amount of pasta. We both took some home. I had a cappuccino that came with a biscotti. So good. We don’t live around there but i would drive the hour and half to go again.

Great local place, try the homemade house dressing and Chicken Olympia, my personal favorite. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff every time.

Chicken Olympia. Nuff said. I have been eating this dish for 20 years, and it’s always delicious. I credit myself for getting it on the regular menu, as I only ever got it as a special in my childood

One of our favorite locally owned restaurants. Enjoyed a delicious meal with friends last night. Our service was perfect.

This is a great place to eat — the owners are great and truly care about their customers. You can’t go wrong with much of anything on the menu, although the seafood seemed to be the real deal. I had the chicken and sausage Luciano which was worth every penny. Good price, great value, and a good meal experience.

We have visited Papagallos several times in the past and have never been disappointed. Today’s visit was good as always with just a few stumbles. Median priced meals with above average quality is what you can expect consistently. The At-A-Boys. Diverse menu with a trendy bistro style leaning towards Italian. It’s a big place so there is room for all. A weekend buffet that is killer for the price. Entrée items priced $ 15 to $ 25. Handmade brick oven pizza with traditional and nontraditional toppings. Lounge area great for private parties. Bread and seasoned oil starts the meal. All good in this Hood. The Toe Stubs. During our dinning we had a few discrepancies, our round of beverages were served without carbonation(can’t really blame the server for this, the machine ran out). We were first seated at a both for 4 when we were 5. We had to request a bigger table and they complied without any problem. Wait time for our entrees was 35 minutes. This might not have been a problem except our soup and salad took 30 so there was a lag time. It wasn’t busy so a better score would have happened if they was a little more thought in bridging the gap. On our menu tonight. Seafood Fra Diavolo. Nice seafood selection over linguine and a spicy red tomato marinara. Baked stuff scallops with red bliss oven baked potatoes. No surprises here. Chicken Marsala. Thick well seasoned sauce with tons of shrooms. Chicken Luciana with sausage. Nice light creaming tomato gravy. Recommended. Steak Tuscano. 12oz NY olive oil, garlic and rosemary. Mixed veg and fries. Overall Papagallos consistently over performs in value, quality and venue. We have been out several times and it is a must try at least once for new comers and a staple for locals. Recommended.

Very first visit to Papagallos. Our waitress on Saturday 25 April 2015 was the very best! Very charming and more. Good food, good atmosphere, good prices, good staff. It wasn’t noticeable how busy the restaurant was at the time as it didn’t reflect on our service. If you go and find less than that … you’re way too picky or they are way too busy and their isn’t anyway to please you. Top of the class! I’m going to try the buffet next time. Thanks Papagallos!

I just came from here great atmosphere, really sweet staff, great for all ages. My only exception is the food itself, the chicken olympia was very tasty as was the meatballs but my brothers order of fettuccine alfredo was far from tasty, or any taste of all. Very bland and unsatisfactory.

This is a great family owned sort-of Italian restaurant. I’ve been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years. The food is consistent. The portions are large. The thing that’s really got me is that the last two times I’ve been there, the wine seems to be watered down. I don’t care if they want to charge me more, but don’t do that it tastes awful

Love the Chicken Olympia! The atmosphere is fun, for the kids, as well as for a couple. The food is for the most part amazing, except– I have had some fatty/tendon pieces… and that makes me want to puke! If a restaurant is going to charge good $, for a dish, can’t they at least take the time to cut out the tendons??? It’s not that hard… I do it, when I prep food…

The waitstaff is very excellent, as mentioned in other reviews. I had the crab cakes, which were very good, and had their special of chicken, crab and broccoli ziti which was very delicious. I would recommend this place on the service alone but the quality of the food is definitely excellent as well.

I was in my way to Burlington Vermont for business and just happened to drive by around dinner time. I noticed that the place was packed, so I pulled over and read the Unilocal reviews. Seeing how it got good ratings, I decided to give it a try. Let me just say, staff was fantastic! My server was Hannah, and she did everything correctly. Very accommodating, attentive, helpful, and just a great attitude. I would hire her in a heartbeat for my own restaurant. I ordered the chicken and shrimp scampi with salad and bread. The entrée was a little under seasoned, but good. It could’ve used more garlic. The herb and oil mixture that they serve you lacked flavor. It was quite blah. Again, more garlic and crushed red pepper would’ve really made it yummy. The service more than made up for mediocre seasoned food. Try it out!

I grew up in the Monadnock region & have never understood how this place is always packed for dinner; the food is mediocre at best. I came here with my family a little while back & ordered what turned out to be the second worst chicken parmesan that I have ever had. The chicken was fatty and chewy. I could only take a few bites before I completely lost my appetite. The one redeeming quality to this restaurant is the waitstaff. Our waitress was very friendly and apologized when she saw that I had not enjoyed my meal.

Awesome place and it helps that I live here. Ask to be introduced to the owners Angelo and Tony, salt of the earth people. Great food, atmosphere and prices! A combination that you can’t go wrong with. Once a month they have comedians in there catering and event space. The building is decorated in a awesome décor and the huge fireplace warms you right up on a fall or winter night.
