I have been a member of the Courthouse for many years. I have enjoyed the years tremendously, but have been considering finding another workout facility. Something or things have changed. I suspect monetary problems. To make a long story short, the membership is becoming more and more unhappy. The club is poorly run. very poor communication or something. I find it sad to see this happening. Members are not feeling appreciated, to say the least. There have been so many things wrong recently, that it is overwhelming to go into all the details. It is becoming more and more unpleasant to work out in the facility. I doubt this is one person’s fault.

Came here with some kids I watch who have special needs. All the staff were very pleasant and understanding of their needs. We went out to the pool and they enjoyed themselves quite a bit. We plan on coming back regularly. The staff was top notch.

I recommend updating their equipment, it lacks in comparison between other gyms in town. They have a pool but not everyone is a fan of it small.

Best gym in Keizer I just wish they’d put the machines back upstairs like they use to have it.

I love this place. It’s so clean and the clientele is very friendly. There’s a full size basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool, a huge cardio room and weight room. They also have several group classes you can attend.

This place has a lot of potential. There weekend classes are lacking which is a shock to me. The facilities are nice but there seems to be a lot of empty space, so the actually excersize area seems a bit condense. On the positive side, there’s a pool! And a hot tub! And a tanning bed.

Situated right off of the McNary Golf Course, this Keizer Court House is a nice athletic club in a quieter area of River Road. It’s an ideal place for a small getaway in a small city that is constantly changing. The Courthouse has had a good makeover of amenities over the last few years too. The locker rooms are nice and the gym is fairly spacious. The pool is decent and the cardio rooms are small. The sauna is a tad small, but does the job even if it can only fit 7 – 8 people at best. My favorite aspect is the racquetball courts, which need to be booked ahead of time in order to get some playing time. There are a lot more classes being offered here now — from swimming lessons to family Tai Kwon Do. They have a vast array of cardio classes, all of which are taught by good instructors. The staff is nice here as well, but being that it’s a smaller club, there are less service people to deal with. Pricewise, expect it to be a little hefty. Being that I’m in NY and I can find a better deal here, that already says something about their pricing plans. 24 Hour Fitness has better comparable plans but Courthouse is a very exclusive brand. It really just comes down to the individual being prepared to pay more to be a part of a club that only exists in Salem-Keizer.
