Salem Clinic At Inland Shores

It’s a nice doctor’s office. I have been going here for about 5 years. Staff has always been friendly and fairly effecient.

Dr Kuzma is the best doc I’ve ever had. I was extremely sad to hear he is moving away. I have high expectations, because my dad was a dr for 35 years. Dr Kuzma exceeded all of them. Take care in Washington.

This clinic advertises as a Urgent Care facility, this they are not. When they bill you it is billed from the perspective of a general clinic, or primary care facility. My insurance pays 100% coverage with a 50 dollar co-​pay at Urgent Care clinics, imagine my surprise when I get a 200 dollar bill for a throat culture from Salem Clinic. When I called to discuss this errant billing this was their answer. An explanation that was not only useless, it came off a bit smug .” We don’t bill as an Urgent Care Clinic because we are not an Urgent Care Clinic, I responded in reminding them it says Urgent Care on their building, the response: We can consider ourselves an Urgent Care type facility because we can see you same day without an appointment. Yet we will bill you as if you were a patient!!! «Needless to say this will be my one and only visit. Highly disappointed with false advertising, and poor billing practices. Not even an apology for the miss representation, I was given a smart ass comment that was useful though! The representative on the phone was kind enough, when I explained how disappointed I was about this, she said «kind of an expensive lesson to learn, maybe you should have gone to the emergency room instead!!! For a throat culture!!! This is why our health care system is so bust right now.

I absolutely love my doctor and the other lady that shares her practice. Dr. Leslley Garber and Barbara Folke are a great team and give wonderful care! I’ve been a patient of theirs for quite a few years now and I have never been happier with a doctor. Salem clinic has a few doctors I haven’t liked, but that goes for any large clinic. Overall I am very satisfied with Salem clinic. And I love the inland shores location. I travel 30 minutes to see my doctor when there are doctors in my home town. I highly recommend dr. Garber.
