I don’t know what it is, but every single Shari’s in Salem/Keizer just has bad service. The food is always good, but I never get refills. And if I ask for hot water it takes 15 minutes for them to bring It… even when they aren’t busy there’s slow service. At every location. If you’re not in a hurry and have a patient temperament, than Go ahead and give this place a try. The food is average diner quality. I hope the service improves. I do really like their menu and pies.

Food is mediocre but with that in mind even supposedly quality places can seem cheap with product. Service is great and once places close and only 24⁄7 places are open this place definitely beats McDonalds, and muchas. Country fried steak is usually a face of mine. Love the big comfy booths of yester year, new restaurants seem to be small and lacking in comfort.

Stopped in for a meal and found they served breakfast all day. Good. We ordered the same thing after waiting too long for a server when there were only two other tables in use. After another long wait our breakfast plates were served. We had both ordered eggs over easy. That means whites cooked yolk liquid. My eggs were over medium(yolk no longer runny but not quite hard throughout) and my wife’s eggs were broken coming out of the kitchen. Bad. Hash browns were barely browned on the surface and not coked past al dente(a term that ought to apply only to pasta, not potatoes). Bad. All in all this is not a store I would return to for any meal. I guess it is a matter of diner beware.

Had the Bbq burger on a pretzel bun. Was delicious. Portions are big, prices are reasonable & service was great! Definitely would recommend the S’mores Pie. So yummy! Coming from out of town, it was nice to eat at a place that tasted homemade. Btw– our server was Vincent. Very funny, fast & kind!

The food’s good, not great. It’s also a little spendy for food that isn’t really anything special. I do like that it’s open 24 hours, and that you can order breakfast at dinner time or vise versa. Their pies? Pretty yummy! You can get a whole one for about 10 bucks.

food average, staff average, thus 2 stars. having never been to this location in Keizer, was expecting typical Sharis food… which was what we received. ordered Nachos as appetizer, needed more cheese… and less salsa. it came with no sour cream or guac, which for nachos should be standard. hubby got some big over the top burger, which he said was decent. my pancakes were subpar and boring. overall, we shoulda went to Nancys across the street. oh and btw, we were seated within direct earshot of kitchen, and the cook and staff were commenting, literally on every person’s order. WEIRD.

The salad was wilted, the herb fries were limp and pain… I only ate two. The pie slices are very tiny and look nothing like the picture. Fast friendly service.

Shari’s has done another menu change and has some new dishes and changed some of the older dishes. They still aren’t great but they do have some good things. Stuffed hash browns for example, their pies are top notch but most of the food falls short. The shrimp scampi for example is shrimp cooked on a griddle with melted butter and a little garlic in a bowl.

When me and the hubby feel like having a late snack or dessert we usually come here since it’s open 24hrs. Late night coffee with some pie always hits the spot lol we always enjoy ourselves when we come here. The service is good as well.

I’d really give this 2.5 stars if I could. Pros: Decent breakfast option and some of their pies are pretty good(banana cream, coconut cream, peanut butter chocolate silk). Staff is friendly and interior is comfortable. Not many other options that are open 24 hours a day in Keizer. Cons: Depending on what you order food can be a bit overpriced for what it is. Also, you may see some interesting River Road walkers stop in here and there. First time I ever came to this Shari’s someone hit me up for money in the doorway/foyer before I even managed to step foot into the restaurant.

We’ve eaten at various Shari’s restaurants over the years… most have been just fine. This was our first visit to this location. After a long drive to Keizer, we decided to order takeout. When we got back to our hotel room, we discovered that we were not given a side dish nor dipping sauce with one of our meals. The other dish(Nachos) was rubbery and flavorless. It wasn’t worth it to drive back to the restaurant… but, I was tired and cranky and my hubby had to wrestle the phone out of my hand when I tried to call the manager to have the missing«pieces» delivered to our hotel. The two star rating is for the pie which saved this otherwise lackluster meal. We will never eat here again.

The service was great. The food came quick. We were their before the morning rush. The food wasn’t amazing, but the sunrise starter was filling and well priced. The sausage was a little dry and hard, but other than that it was good. Although the coffee seems a little expensive. I mean more than two bucks? I can get more coffee at a gas station for that price. The pie was phenomenal. Peanut butter silk. Mmmmm delicious. All in all it was a good dinning experience.

I just don’t understand why people keep eating here unless they are coming in for the pie. The food is ho-hum at best. Service is spotty. Parking is awkward. The good news is that their pies are really good so if that’s what you’re in the mood for, stop by. Otherwise, best keep on driving…

Not the expected meal. Both meals were less than good. Food was old, sat on the counter, or something. The service was not attentive. Took coffee pot away and never returned. Dropped off bill and never returned. We sat chatting, ran out of coffee and water. Will skip this Sharis in the futures.

12÷8÷13 First to-go order– — The food was obviously prepared well before the intended pickup time. — Order was missing a side-salad — The bowl of soup, or the container used for it, was cup sized. — Burger had Bleu cheese on it instead of Cheddar. 2.5

I have always had excellent customer service every time I’ve eaten there. We try to avoid the peak times that may have been what caused some of the negative reviews on the customer service side. As far as the food goes. Compared to other Shari’s that I’ve eaten at, it tastes exactly the same as the others. That’s not totally a bad thing, you always know what to expect. The spinach omelette has become my new Shari’s fave though(sans bleu cheese). I think if you stick with the breakfast items, you can’t really go wrong. Don’t go mid-morning to mid afternoon on Sunday and Saturday(because that place backs up big time). I can’t say that Shari’s is my favorite place to eat but it’s always been consistently ok for me and the convenience to home and hours really makes it someplace that I’d most likely go to again.

Came here today to grab some lunch. We do not do fast food so this was our choice that was close. I regret coming to this Shari’s. Staff here was not friendly. Ordered a burger and fries, Meat was under cooked and burnt on the outside it had a pretzel bun which was hard as a rock it was like they nuked it then let it sit out before serving it so it hardened up. Waitress waited till we were almost done to check on us and to bring our check. Went to pay and Manager just ignored us then after a min he said he will be right with us. He noticed we were waiting to pay just did not see the importance to acknowledge us. We will never return to this Shari’s next time I guess it is Taco Bell as you know they will treat you like some number and pass you through as fast as they can and not care about you in the least But that is expected from Fast Food.

This review is based on just one visit to the Keizer Sheri’s. Our waitress was very cheerful, friendly, and gave very accomodating service. My daughter asked for fruit punch which wasn’t on the menu and the waitress made fruit punch for them! Very nice! I ordered the Cuban sandwich(pulled pork, ham, cheese) with piping hot fries. I really liked it. The bf ordered fried chicken and waffles. It had some yummy sauce on it, delicious! The kids split a strawberry waffle with whipped cream which is always a hit. So, good service, good food, a good time for our family.

Food has been luke warm for the sixth visit in a row. I have complained to the manager and nothing has changed. To add insult to injury, they are only filling my coffee cup 2⁄3 full and we have to ask for more!
