I like to support local businesses. So, when I needed a jewelry appraisal for insurance, I sought out a jeweler here in Keller.
Parking for businesses in Old Town Keller (Main Street near Keller Parkway (1709)) is often a challenge — there’s no place to park on the street. The best place to park is just on the north side of the building adjacent to Main Street.
The folks here are nice and the price was reasonable (up to three items appraised for the same price). However, my appraisal was not ready when promised. To make matters worse, the size of a larger diamond was off by 10% — this completely threw off the value of the appraisal and made it worthless for insurance (yes, I have other older appraisals verifying the size of the diamond).
When I approached the jeweler about the mistake, they were unwilling to correct their appraisal. I won’t be back.
