Well, this park seems like a colossal waste of money to me. The memorial stones are nicely done, but the park is very hard to utilize. It’s on a very busy corner. There is nothing here except the memorial stones placed in a circle and a couple of stone benches. If you sit on the benches, you can’t quietly contemplate the sacrifice made by our fallen service men and women because of the very loud traffic noise. I imagine quite a bit of money was spent on this park, and I never see anyone there. Now that I have stopped and checked it out in person, I can understand WHY I never see anyone here. It’s a shame, really.

My only real complaint is the location. On the NE corner of two very busy streets(377 and 1709), it’s not a very peaceful place to contemplate the sacrifices of others. That being said, it is a nice memorial. It’s nice to have something like this specifically for the past, present, and future residents of Keller. The are 7 large granite tablets, one dark granite in the center, the other 6, three on each side, are light granite. The center tablet is for the memorial. The light tablets hold the names of the Keller residents, who have died serving the United States of America. It’s a sobering reminder of the sacrifices of others. I’m glad that I stumbled across it, almost literally due the intersection construction, on a walk. The are a few parking spots on the north side of the memorial.
