My daughter was happy to make the big chop, cutting off all of her permed hair. After paying for a $ 50 hair cut, she was left uneven and with permed straight ends. Frankie also commented to my daughter that her black father should be in charge of her hair, not her white mother. I’m very saddened for my daughter to have her «big chop» day ruined.
If she was so concerned with my skills as a white mother, maybe she could have came to me with compassion and given me tips… Instead of being bitter and spiteful… Taking it out on my daughter and her hair. See pictures– haircut by Frankie

Roshi olak offers a good spa service, I had been visiting her for three years now. Usually get a facial and wax service, she gives a personalized consulting for skin care afterwards and has a good products for skin care.
Shirodhara is a nice oil treatment offered by her.

I would not use this place. Bought a groupon and was told that if I booked it before it expired that it would still be honored but then I get there and they denied it! I have a feeling that the lady took one look at me didn’t like what she saw… I feel like she didn’t want to honor it because I am Hispanic. Don’t go here don’t waste your time and money like I did.

Mel’s Massage is the best massage and facial I have ever had! Not only is she sweet and a great conversationalist, but she is a truly talented masseuse! Before coming to her, I had been seeing a chiropractor regularly for neck and upper back pain. Mel worked diligently on these areas without causing any pain at all and made them feel great after massaging the knots my chiropractor couldn’t target. She also massaged other pain areas that no other masseuse had ever even touched and showed me ways to relieve that pressure by myself!
The products she use smell amazing, clean and didn’t leave me feeling oily. The salon in this area was very quiet and it couldn’t have been more relaxing. I will definitely be going back.

Cecilia did an amazing job on my updo for my friend’s wedding. I have very thick stubborn straight hair that does not like to hold a curl and she made it look amazing in one hour! I’m so thankful she squeezed me in on her birthday to help me out! I would recommend her to anyone in the area.

Carmen Taveras almost made me bald. My hair was breaking and thinning out after a few visits. When i wld brush my bangs I could feel hair sprinkle pass my face. She used an oil product that wasn’t compatible with the heat of flat iron. Oil goes on last! Not before the flat iron hence the breakage issue. If I wanted my hair curled vs straight I had to sit with rollers under dryer for 2+ hours. She doesn’t do color and highlights together. she will do one then wash n quick blow dry ur hair and then do the other. It’s time too time consuming! When I expressed these concerns she was in denial and full of excuses. So, I had to find someone else. Carmen, go earn CEU’s, buy a curling iron, and read product labels! I went to Toni & Guy and my hair is back to itself. The problem with places like overpriced salons like Legacy is that each stylist is simply renting a suite in the dwelling. So, they aren’t required to stay in tune with current education and trends. They stay ignorant while we pay their high rent. The massage/​facial prices are overpriced also.
