I have been going to Rachael for my highlights, cut and style for about a year and a half now. I have always been more than pleased when I leave her shop. My hair looks great and I feel great! She has the early morning slots that I need and the price she charges for her services are fair and reasonable. I have recommended her to all my family and friends and they use her too. Give Rachael a try and you will be happy you did!

I recently purchased a LivingSocial deal for partial highlights, a cut and eyebrow waxing. I called to make an appointment and left a message. After 2 days with no return call, I booked an appointment via her website for a Friday in 2 weeks. I was 15 minutes late to the appointment due to road construction in the area. Unfortunately, it was unclear from the address on the mobile version of her site and the LivingSocial deal that her salon was INSIDE another salon with a different name. I tried calling her cell phone but she didn’t answer. When I found her booth, she informed me that she«didn’t know I was coming»(despite having an appointment and the fact that I had tried calling her) so she had booked another client who was due to arrive in 15 minutes. She said she could try to fit me in around the other client but couldn’t give me an idea of how long the service would ultimately take. At this point, I was furious at the lack of communication and her casual disregard for my patronage. My guess is that Rachael figured I wouldn’t be a repeat customer(the location was a lot further from my house than I realized) and she didn’t care whether I was satisfied. Given my experience, I refuse to redeem the LivingSocial deal. I will not allow someone I don’t trust to provide beauty services. When I attempted to contact LivingSocial about the issue, they said the circumstances were outside their refund policy so I should resolve it with the merchant. I emailed Rachael with some ideas on resolution and haven’t heard back from her.
