I went to Whataburger on Sunday December 20th for lunch, just as I have many times before. As usual the burger I ordered was freshly made, juicy and with a tangy flavor. The lettuce and tomato were crispy and added layers of flavor and good eating. This hamburger is worth every penny spent to enjoy it’s goodness.

Good place to grab a burger if you don’t feel like cooking. I have used their drive thru on many occasions. The food is usually pretty good but I have had a few misses here and there. No the best burger joint but not the worst either.

Soapy Ice Tea. Tastes like soap. And when I dumped it I still saw foam bubbles on inside walls of my cup. Then I lifted the plastic lid to the aluminum tea cylinders and yep, soapy residue on the inside walls. McDonald’s uses plastic bags for their tea cylinders to avoid this. Yuck!

Whataburger is the best. I will never eat at another fast food burger place again. Whataburger has the best milkshakes, fries, burgers, and chicken. DQ should give up.

This is a drive thru review. Not the type of person that waits for a long time. I am a very busy person and I value my time as I value the time of others. Every second and every minute is very important for me. So the longer I wait for something, the easier I get mad. Well, the people here at Whataburger made me wait for the order. Cant they see that’s why I just drove in their drive-thru because I am in a hurry. Slacky, slow, and other words that describes their bad service in the drive-thru. Would be very happy if the owner replace those people.

Our family Saturday lunch tradition. Girl taking order today one of the better ones, though they initially forgot our extra fries, until asked. I like extra pickles and tomatoes and a side of gravy instead of catsup. I switch to unsweet tea to avoid all the big soda calories. This is one of the better WBs in DFW. Fries and veggies don’t taste old and orders quicker.

Employees here have the typical«I make minimum wage» type of attitude. I asked for ranch for the Potatoe like substitute things they call fries here, never received it. Kind of like McDonald’s fries… not quite sure if they’re real. Texan’s ever where rave about this joint. Quite frankly I don’t get the hype. The burgers are pretty good, I just don’t think they deserve all the praise they’ve been given. Still all these places are open 24 hours, and they are literally every where! Like Starbucks. That easy to recognize orange and white building dots the landscape of DFW. The burger was juicy, and the veggies were fresh. I just think In-N-Out is better…

They always say you can have 100 good experiences but you’ll remember is that bad one. Well I had such a situation this morning. The drive thru girl felt rush as I was ordering 2 b-fast sandwiches, and I had the cashier repeat to make sure it was correct. I gladly paid when she read it back to me correctly. The mgr at the window gave me my drinks and the bag, so I do a quick check to make sure I have 2 sandwiches and 2 tater tots and leave. When I get home 10+ miles away, the sandwiches were only the bread. No egg, no sausage. No cheese. Just the biscuits. It was over $ 9.00 of food and to get home and all u have to eat is BREAD! I was so pissed. Would of taken more time and headache to go back but was VERYDISSATISFIED with that place. Don’t think I’ll be back in a while. They just built a DQ closer to home and I never have any issues there. Plus I have a McDonalds just down the block too so saving on gas is a plus.

Unsafe food handling! After ordering, I observed the gentleman on the burger station handling the food without gloves after coming directly from handling money and the register. He also was touching various body parts, coughing, and who knows what else. I promptly left without my food. Good to know during flu season!

So I know this is going to sound kinda stupid, but I just had my first Whataburger after living here for 7 years! And I liked it! I guess I was thinking it would be like other fast-food burgers, but it wasn’t. It was actually good. Someone reviewed another location once and likened the Whataburger to In-n-Out. I’d say it was similar in that my burger was LOADED with veggies(like In-n-Out does it) — just the way I like it. My favorite burger is one with lettuce, tomato, pickles, raw onions and mustard. This is the Whataburger burger. Go figure. No mayo. No ketchup. Just mustard. Yea, I know you can alter it however you like, but the way it’s presented without changes suits me just fine. Anyway, it was hot, fresh and quite tasty. I hope this wasn’t a one-off and that the next time I go it’s just as good. I didn’t try the fries, so the 4 stars is just for the burger.

I had never seen Whatabugers before moving here from Boston, and I’ve been to two of them already, and both were terrible. But today, for whatever reason, I felt compelled to go here for lunch. It was disgustingly good — I got the patty melt which was awesome, but also gross! I didn’t know it was TWO patties — this thing is going to give me a post-lunch coma, I just know it!!! But it was buttery and flavorful and awesome. The fries were hot and fresh and crispy — they’re just like the old McDonald’s fries! Speaking of old McDonald’s stuff– the apple pie here is that old kind that’s more like a molten lava apple pie egg roll and I LOVEIT. Also — the spicy ketchup is really good! So if I ever want to pig out, I’m coming here!!!

I’m kinda hooked on the Whataburger Junior now. Hot, fresh and dressed nicely. Much more satisfying than other fast food small burger option. And to think I made this discovery because the Krystal on Beach St. closed.

Whataburger is not for the faint at heart as displayed by the other reviewer especially if you’re from California. The burgers are hearty and quite tasty. The staff at this location are always nice and always get our order correct. Overall great burger joint!

I mean… I’m a Californian, and I like me a good burger. Therefore…I did not like Whataburger. I got some bacon cheeseburger combo, while my family and I visited. The bacon was not even fully cooked. Which of course saddened me. How hard can it be to make sure it’s microwaved all the way? –_– I left feeling greasy and ashamed. :(
