With out a doubt worst looking plate I’ve ever seen in restaurant. And that was the best part of the«meal» food was even worse.

My wife an I stopped by Saturday morning, seated us quickly, service was also very polite and punctual, food was good too!

If I could give –5 stars I would. We walked in, got seated and proceeded to wait…15 minutes gone by and we still haven’t been greeted or acknowledged. I got up to let the server politely know we were ready to order. She replies, rudely, that she will be with us «as soon as possible» and turns her back to me and continues to ignore us. Finally, we get up and leave because the way she spoke to us was completely uncalled for. As somebody who has worked various customer service jobs, if I EVER spoke that way to a customer, I would have been unemployed immediately. I am truly appalled at this location and will NEVER step foot in this establishment again. I wish I would have gotten her name but they will be receiving a call from me. Unbelievable.

This was a quick stop. We’ve been to this Denny’s several times. It’s always clean, service is fast and also friendly. This time we were there for biscuits and gravy for one meal and clam chowder for the other. We were pleased with the food, the price and the service. I guess it was just as we expected.

I love this place during the day. But night time is awful. Just got off work as a server in a busy place, so I understand how it can be. She was taking an order. Then I didn’t see her for a good 5 minutes. Then she comes out, tells her friends,“well since it’s slow I have time to show you pictures!!” Sits there another 5 minutes as I keep thinking, ok she’s going to realize she forgot me. I clear my throat, jiggle my keys, nothing. So all total I was there 20 minutes and never ordered when I got up and left. There’s just know excuse for that. Good thing Sharis is right across the street.

This is the 3rd time we’ve gone to Denny’s & have received a dirty dish. Two coffee cups that still had lipstick and of course a fork. Now… we know the occasional dish slips thru. However, this last time was the last time. We’re done. The flippant«oh that’s not even your shade» comment to my husband by the waitress doesn’t cut it! There is also a smell when you’re walking to the bathroom that is overwhelming. Mildew? I don’t know but I’m so glad we were at the other end of the building! Why oh why isn’t there an IHOP in this town?!

Disgusting bathroom, out of order with flies. Carpet smell of mildew. I usually love Denny’s but this place is gross.

Worst experience. The front lobby smelled like mildew. Should have turned around then. Our seats smelled of urine. My husband ordered the Prime Rib Philly Melt it was poorly stacked and there was no Au jus available so they gave him brown gravy… Gross. The spaghetti my 6 year old ordered was too spicy. I ordered the chicken bacon sandwich. Bacon was soggy– not cooked at all. and it had about 10 pickles piled up in one spot… Now each one of these things isn’t a big deal but all in one visit. No Thanks. Won’t be going back there every again. Especially with a Shari’s across the street.

The greatest breakfast for the price around. Great service, clean atmosphere and fairly quick even when they’re crowded. Get your AARP card for a discount on menu items! I like that they always seem to switch up the menu items always making it interesting. Denny’s has come a long ways. We like the breakfast’s the best but find the other items OK too, but not as good. We travel much and can say we like the consistency of the quality of food at each one. You know what you’ll get when you go into a Denny’s. I would suggest offering free WI-fi at this location though.

Slowest service ever. The location wasn’t even very busy. This is the second time I’ve been to Denny’s in a decade and the service was exactly the same. The waiter also got the order wrong. The food was actually pretty good. Doubtful that I would return to this location.

The build your own burger is fun, interactive, and surprisingly TASTY! Lots of topping options, type of burger, and type of bun. The two, four, six, eight menu is also great. I usually get the biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns for only $ 2! Such a great deal. The food has seemed to improve a great deal after I refused to eat at any Denny’s for TWENTYPLUS years! I’m actually a fan and I shall return! However, can I please get a water glass that’s more than like 2 ounces!!! :)

I went in the other day for breakfast. They have a new build your own burger, I ended up with that instead. It was delicious! the burger was juicy(needed extra napkins… perfect!) They had all the crazy toppings I wanted, and our server was very efficient and friendly. Needless to say, i was extremely full and happy when I left. Thank you denny’s!

I have been eating here for years; when I visit my grandchildren. It is what it is, a Denny’s restaurant. Good food at a low price, not pretentious. I ate there recently, they have come downhill. I don’t think I’ll go there again, too bad.

My friend had been telling about this place for breakfast called the HiLander, it is a bowling alley with a coffee shop, so on our way to a Seahawk game we go there but the place is all boarded up and closed. We have limited time and the only three things in sight distance is a Denny’s, McDonald’s and a Shari’s. That’s kind of like being asked if you would like to die by hanging, electric chair or beheading. Weighing our options we decide that at least Denny’s is consistent. I will say that we received an warm welcome by the hostess and were seated immediately with menus and water soon after. It was off to a good start. Then the food came. So, now you can pick your own Grand Slam by picking four of ten items. I picked the two eggs(scrambled hard), pancakes(2), bacon and grits. Honestly the eggs were perfect, fluffy and dry and a lot for two eggs. Pancakes, well c’mon, how can you screw up pancakes? I know you can, but I will give Denny’s props for proper pancakes. Not great, not special, but good. The bacon was usual Denny’s fare, so thin that it must it must have been cut by lasers(maybe the ones they attach to shark’s heads?) and it tasted kind of like bacon, there wasn’t enough to tell. Then it was time to sample the grits. I looked at my bowl of grits and along the upper edge it looked like when you get a boil over in a microwave, little dried particles along the top. Even if it was poured sloppily every bit of the rim of the bowl? Microwave grits, huh? There was only one thing to do… extra butter and a little sugar. I tasted my first spoonful. More butter, a lot more sugar. My second spoonful tastes like buttery, sweet spackle. I tried more, but it just never got better. Denny’s, you failed grits, big time. Definitely not worth the money they charge in my own humble opinion. More points off for reducing the number of Grand Slams to four(three plus the make your own thing). On the positive side the service was very good and friendly, the bathroom was exceedingly clean and the place was pretty clean overall, no threadbare carpet like you see in most Denny’s.

One star(or zero if Unilocal allowed it) for the food, but two stars for the fact that it’s where my parents met over 30 years ago! Mom was a manager, Dad was a regular can’t-cook-for-himself bachelor… so it goes.(Well, technically it was the one near the Triangle Mall in Longview, but that one has long since been demolished — next best thing.) Yeah, it’s pretty inedible stuff, but if it weren’t for these naugahyde seats of yore I wouldn’t be typing this very review!
