its a classic, and very simple! be aware that sundays have breakfast food all day. a great price for a great all u can eat buffet. sometimes they will be out of something, but just go back and eat, and when u go back it will probably be refilled. it always is for me! i would highly recommend this place, especially if ur in town. but its pretty busy more often than not

Note that this is a buffet. IIzzy’s will give you a real taste of the local middle class family culture in Kelso. Salad bar is excellent, better than many«better» places. Pizza not so great, but not ½ bad. Fried chicken, pretty good. Oatmeal cookies, 4 star. Beer choice is limited. They do offer Corona, but they serve it with lemon. Solid food for a low price. What is not to like? Don’t expect too much and you will be glad you came. I know I was.

Nice people work here. The lunch deal is not cheap but the salad bar is pretty good. We have never been here for pizza. If it’s like the pizza on the salad bar it’s terrible pizza!

Chris is the guy to talk to. We have been going here for several years. I am planning a family 1 x mo. get together. He had all the information we needed. I am so excited to start the journey. Thank you Izzy’s and Chris. Sincerely, Terry Borden

Great salad bar for a pizza place. Iceberg lettuce, romain, spring mix, spinach, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, beets, peppers, etc. potato salad and more. Nice selection of pizzas with an incredible crust. for an additional charge, there is a hot food bar of fried chicken, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, etc. and they offer a hot taco bar with steak, fish, pulled pork. To top it off, there is dessert. We have been on the road for 3 weeks and it is always a treat to find a restaurant like this with fresh food. salad & pizza bar, $ 8.99. All you can eat $ 12.99. Special rates for kids aged 4 – 12. Clean facilities. Pleasant staff. Leave them a nice tip.

I have eaten here only twice in 15 years. Both times the food was merely passable, while the staff were rude, aloof, and pushy. And both times I felt like I got taken for extras. Never can be certain give how confusing their entire pricing structure is. I will continue to avoid all Izzys just because of the confusion I feel going there. Oh and just a note, toilet paper rolls in the restrooms do not need high friction brakes on them preventing people from getting any. Totally disgusting thought as to what happens if one does not get enough tissue to wipe ones rear given how many people fail to properly wash their hands afterwards… Ugh!

The food is well above-par when compared to other buffets in its category(hometown buffet, etc…). They have an okay variety of food but will not find anything other than American style food such as: pizza, ribs, mashed potatoes, breaded chicken fingers and a salad bar. Nonetheless, it is a great destination for families to socialize and eat.

Had not been there in years and went in with the family. While not cheap for our entire crew we definitely ate our fill and it was one of the best tasting buffets we have had anywhere with food that was as good as most sit down and order restaurants. I will give it 4 stars but the kids would probably give it 5.

This is my son’s favorite place in the entire world. If I asked him whether he’d rather go to Izzy’s or Disneyland, we’d be heading to Kelso. And that’s no exaggeration. Located right in the heart of scenic Cowlitz County, Izzy’s is a mid-brow buffet that offers a seemingly endless variety of pizza, fried chicken, salad, pasta, desserts and more. If you don’t walk outta this place feeling like your ass is about to explode in fifteen directions, you’re doin’ it wrong.

I would give 4 stars, and I wanted to give is 3 ½ stars which isn’t a choice. They’re in the middle of remodeling and the service was just OK. I know you don’t go to a buffet for service, but with the extra items offered in addition to the buffet you need a server. The food is a 4. We really liked the choices on the buffet. I consider myself to be a professional salad eater and this salad bar is great. You get so many healthy choices in addition to ready made salads that probably aren’t the best for calorie counting. I liked their Waldorf salad, it was not the traditional creamy based one, but was with lettuce that had all the things that you’d put into Waldorf like the apples, celery etc with cinnamon tasting croutons and a very very light dressing. The tri-tip was outstanding, it beat out the steak house place in town that’s so bad(see my other reviews for JT’s) and the cost was less than half! I would recommend that Izzy’s get a craft beer selection. I bet they’d do well with that. This started out as a pizza and salad bar restaurant, but they’ve really stepped it up with all the extras that they offer and the menu changes every time we’ve gone in. Don’t forget to sign up for the birthday club or rewards, you’ll get BOGO’s! In our town with such few choices for consistantly good dining options, Izzy’s is one of the better places to go!

My family had lunch there last weekend with some friends. Neither of us are from Kelso. It was a good halfway point for all of us. Izzy’s is easy to find from the freeway. We were seated immediately. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room which was important with all of the kids. Our waitress was great. She got our drinks to us very quickly and regularly checked back to see how we were doing. We chose the buffet. Everything was fresh and tasty. Izzy’s has expanded their types of pizza since I last went. I really liked the BBQ chicken. It was yummy. The kids loved the soft serve ice cream in the mini cones. Overall it was a great place to done.

Not the best but not the worst. The«buffet» selection is slim. Almost lacking variety to be titled a buffet. The little selection they have is tasty. But in my opinion not worth the price you pay.

This is just another kind of a Sizzler. We still never quite figured out how to order efficiently because you can have one of the buffets or some of them or all of them and then you can request a meat for no charge separately… but we weren’t sure which that applied to so we both ended up getting the full buffet which was about 300% too much food for us. Food quality was just ok. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant, the corn on the cob had to have been frozen because it had zero flavor. Some of the pizzas were pretty good and my wife loved the BBQ chicken. Our waitress was very inattentive and bordered on outright rude. She checked on us one time and didn’t respond at all when we thanked her. I think she didn’t want to be there that evening and it definitely showed.

Kid’s favorite. Food can be inconsistent at times. Salad/Pizza bar is best value. Pizza is deep dish style, very good. Salad bar is fresh and good variety. The classic portion consists of chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies, pasta. Kids under 3 are free! .60/per year after 3yrs. Don’t go at closing, food is limited, and old, typical with any buffet. Sunday brunch is nothing special. The grill food changes often, don’t count on special items to be available all the time. Service is friendly.

Hungry? Hungry? Hungry? On a travel budget? This place doesn’t break the bank and is tasty too. Stopped in Kelso, WA for lunch a long road trip. I know where is Kelso huh? This place is located on the 3 Rivers Mall property in it’s own stand alone restaurant spot. Plenty of parking near the restaurant and a shady one or two as well. The place is a bit confusing when inside. There is a buffet, a grill, and pizza. Most regulars know what to do but we were clueless because if you want the buffet you don’t really hear about the other stuff. So you can have the whole bar, the pizza and salad bar, the salad bar, order pizza or add grill items or a combination. The classic buffet was a guy’s food dream. A little of everything and more of whatever you like. Chicken, potatoes, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, beans, bakery items, dessert, soup, salad, pizza, cookies, soft serve plus grill items made to order all for $ 10. Then if you only want pizza and salad you can do that for $ 8. Kids eat according to their age and seniors get a discount too. The salad and toppings were fresh and the pizza was yummy & fresh too. Be a hawk. Wait till it comes out swoop on it and pass up the half hour old pies. Delicious all of them so sample. The dessert was basic but self serve with cookies or cinnamon rolls or brownies etc. The grilled riblets were also great. Staff seem to have been there awhile and are not particularly friendly or unfriendlly but they know Izzy’s. Although stuff isn’t cleared as fast as you might like they will take it if it gets piled up. People come in for lunch so it gets steady but that means more food comes out fresh. A win win for the diners. All in all a good lunch spot for a buffet. A Bonanza in the boonies!

Escaped the tourist invasion of our area for the Fourth of July and became tourists ourselves in the Longview /Kelso area. Sadly, our favourite Mexican restaurant in Longview was closed for the day(sucked), but the Mexican market was open next door(rocks!!). After getting our usual supply of Mexican sweet baked goods at a cheap price, we then tried to figure out where to eat and then see fireworks. My partner had been to and liked Izzy’s in a past life, so we decided to give it a shot. Sort of an odd set up being a buffet, but also having menu items and just pizza, I can see how some customers can be confused about how it all works. We took the easy route and did the all you can eat buffet. Great value for the selection and quality of food. Some items really shined, while some were just mediocre at best. Service was attentive(Kassi was awesome… cute too!!!). Only complaint was that tables weren’t cleared of used plates that often, but it was a holiday and they seemed short staffed. What will bring us back — friendly service, prices, tempura battered fish, BBQ chicken, BBQ short ribs, best BBQ sauce that I have had!!!, great pizza(thick crust, perfect amount of crunch to soft, flavourful sauce, quality toppings.) What could improve — More attention to busing tables, More selection on salad bar, adding things like more breads /rolls, adding seafood(shrimp, clams, oysters), including drink in current price of buffet

This is a great buffet! $ 11 for dinner, drink is another $ 1.89. Salad bar is fresh. Pizza bar is really good I love their artichoke pizza &BBQ chick pizza. Fried chicken & glazed honey chicken is great. Pulled pork was ok. Skirt steak chewy. Ribs was pretty good. Their pinapple upside cake was like a fresh made doughnut. Bread pudding ok.

We stopped at the Three Rivers Mall in Kelso, WA for lunch at Izzy’s Pizza & Buffet. We are on a rather long road trip, and this turned out to be one of the best meal deals of the trip. There was a salad bar with fresh greens and fruit, really fresh and good pizza that kept coming, an entrée bar with both fried and grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and really good grilled veggies, and several types of desserts, all for under $ 10 for lunch. I“m a fan!
