The other reviews are actually what prompted me to write this one. Interesting. Cost I paid $ 48 for two adults and one child. Not sure how someone else paid $ 10/person. Perhaps the city pass helped them. Speed There is no way this boat goes over 35mph. Not sure why someone else says 75mph Thoughts This is a fun boat ride for people who have never had a chance to go out on a boat, are looking for an opportunity to cool off, or simply want something different to while enjoying some fun music. It is definitely nice to go out on a boat, period. I love the water and used to own boats. This fact is likely why I find this particular boat ride a bit boring. From my perspective, this would be more of a 2 star. However, My daughter, who is 11, enjoyed herself. She liked when the waves came over and got her wet, and found the overall experience fun. My niece, who is 21, found it boring. But, she grew up sailing and out on boats all the time. They do a good job of entertaining, but they definitely do not provide a thrill ride, from my perspective.

OMG how could someone not have reviewed this before? Funnest thing to do in Kemah. This is a large open speedboat that I think is owned or at least sponsored by Joe’s Crab Shack. Bring some sunscreen cause you will get a little bit of a tan from this, especially like during these summer months. Entry is about $ 10 each and well worth it. My brother and I took our Dad out on this thing, Mom and Grandma opted to stay on shore and just watch. To begin with they have dancers who will sing along to the pretty darn cool selection of music as you take out blasting across the bay. Hold onto your hats and glasses cause it moves pretty good. I think they said we got up to 70mph, but it sure felt faster than that. If you have never been on a group speedboat ripping across the bay with salt water mist in the air, busting wakes with 50 other people with dancers singing along to AC/DC’s Hell Bells, well, here ya go. :) If you can, sit at the very front as we did! :) The boat even has a restroom, and wheel chairs are a-okay! So get on it!
