Pier 1 Imports

So, I’ve been looking for a farm table recently and I figured why not stop in Pier 1 since it’s on my way home and I have a coupon. Normally I avoid this store entirely (all locations) because it is a bit pricey I don’t receive the best customer service being on the younger side.
Anyways, I walked in no one greeted me but I saw that they were busy with the register. They have great products and there was a sale going on so prices were more attractive.
I went to the register to pay for my small item that I found. Yet, I couldn’t decide on a table so I was just going to leave with out the intention of coming back for one. Then Carrie started talking to me and was interested on how my shopping experience was. She was the only reason I am giving a 4 star rating. After my transaction she walked with me around the store to discuss the differences between the table. She then took me to the computer and printed specs off for me so I can go home and measure. I will be back for the table I decide on but only if Carrie is working there. :) I appreciate the great customer service I received today.

Awesome little store, WAYYYYYY out in Kemah Texas. If you don’t know where Kemah Texas is, well, I didn’t either. I was in search of an item that was out of stock in Houston, so drove to get it :) The staff was EXTREMELY friendly, held a sale item (their policy is not to, but because I drove from North Houston to practically the Gulf of Mexico to get it…) and even helped me load it into my car. Thank you Pier 1 for helping me with my home furnishings, and for your awesome tips on decorating. I’m a guy. so simple is my game plan — but I do know good stuff when I see it. And when its on clearance, I’m all on it like an Marine Brigade in Baghdad on the Taliban!
So, thus goes to the spoils of my war — I know own one of the last 3 pedestals in Texas :) Oh sure, its a trip but it was worth it. I even saw the Gulf from here — nice. I can see why people would live here. Great service, great prices, great people. Thank you Pier 1 — you earned every star in this review!
