Drink specials are good, food is about just as good as any Mexican place around this area. If you’re looking for a fairly casual atmosphere and just some drinks and good, easy food after work I would highly recommend this place. A couple bars nearby also.

san lorenzos is great! The service is great, as you are always attended. Food is delicious and location is amazing. There are two san lorenzos located quite close to each other, the bigger one seems to be more crowded as it is fancier inside but the smaller one pleases me just as well. The prices are AMAZING to, if you are in need of mexican food please consider this place!

Eat here often and try to overlook the hit or miss service because of convenience. Today we arrived a little before 2:00 and were immediately seated. We ordered and waited approximately 30 minutes before another waiter asked if we were doing ok. I explained we had been waiting 30 minutes for I order. He did respond positively and advised our waiter. Approximately 5 minutes later we had our food but unfortunately it was wrong. Some of the waiters are very good but too many times we seem to get the wrong ones. 30 minutes without checking on us or he would have realized something was wrong. He didn’t even offer an apology just the kitchen was where the fault was.
Too many choices in the area. Will be going elsewhere.

How about Cinco de May-​NO! They say it’s $ 1.99 on the rocks, $ 2.99 frozen. We get half and half and they charge us $ 6 per margarita? Fuck that. Bullshit. Don’t come here.

I’ve eaten here before several times-​but this time it was one of the worst eating out experiences I’ve had.
First off-​we were seated quickly-​but it took almost 15 minutes to get drinks or to place an order. It took well over another 15 minutes for any thing to arrive at our table.
The WORST part was I ordered grill quail-​and when it came out it was smothered in A-​1 steak sauce right out of the bottle. Who does that to quail? I sent it back and just told them to forget it-​so I just ate chips with my beer. My son and daughter’s food was below average.
What a disappointment this place has become. We won’t be back.

I ordered the chicken and guacamole burritos. They were good, but they were salty!
The chips were warm and the salsa was fresh. The queso was very yummy. Warm, melted cheese is usually never bad.

Love the chips — many Tex-​Mex places are changing to those thicker kinds of chips and they just don’t have the same crunch! The queso was good and service excellent. For the price value, I would definitely come here again!

They seem to sit the locals first. You can tell easily. Food is no that great. Margaritas I’ve had alot better. Not authentic food that’s for sure.

Don’t understand the negative reviews at all. We usually make it here once a week and everything is great. The wait staff is always friendly and they know you by name. Food is always consistently good. Repeat customers here.

I am a disabled chemo patient. San Lorenzo was recommended. I ordered Nachos to go. The manager took my order and was very friendly.
UNFORTUNATELY, when I got home after a long wait for my order (less than two miles and less than five minutes, my order was cold and looked like someone else’s order that was resold.
I went back the next day to advise of this error and the assistant manager said she was sorry, but the manager had left early on personal business.
I went back today and told the manager about the order and he got offensive, defensive and told me it was piping hot, yet he wasn’t the one who handed it to me and told me I was wrong. He would do nothing and embarrassed me in front of waiting customers.
DON’T patronize this location.
I advised AARP, The Disability Network, BBB and M.D. Anderson about this.
He, personally ripped me off, because of his expressed prejudice towards a person with obvious disabilities.

Very impressed! My wife and I were trying to find a place for mexican food since leaving Corpus. Great service, and margaritas. And the best beef enchiladas we’ve had yet. Very friendly!

My family and I went here for the first time last week and really like it. It was a bit out of the way for us considering in Clear Lake there is a Mexican restaurant every block. But, it was worth the drive. The salsa is amazing, I think we got about 2 baskets of chips and 5 refills of salsa…

Everything was average here.
The sauces served with the chips were average. The enchilada combination I got was average. The chalupas were average. And while my boyfriend loved the fried ice cream I thought it was pretty average too — I’ve definitely had better.
We were seated quickly and the food came out relatively quickly as well but it took some time to get our checks (despite being one of the few people here). We told them up front about the
certificate and they honored it so the whole meal ended up being around $ 10 (not including the
deal purchase which was acquired as part of a large groupon deal).
Would I come back here if I was craving Mexican food and had a deal or coupon in hand? Maybe. Would I come back on my own without a deal? No.

Don’t bother with this place. I’ve tried this place 4 times in 3 years and the service is just AWFUL! Twice my order was wrong and twice the waiters went on a break during my visit. I spoke with the manager again this last time and explained my issue tonight and previous visits and the 20 something year old didn’t even care! Wouldn’t even look me in the face! Didn’t offer a discount, apology, or anything. Explained to him I’d post reviews on any site I could think of and he said «go ahead». I’d post a zero rating but Unilocal won’t allow it.
