If you are into the retro-rock, rockabilly or psychbilly scene, this is your place. Oh, you should also come here if you’re into really really cool shoes or accessories. Oh heck, just come here. I bet you’ll like something. They carry beautiful, offbeat shoes here that will please most ladies and gents. As usual, the ladies selection is larger than the men’s, but it’s expected. Same is true for the duds. Ladies gotta go for the clothes, right? The accessories are really great; from wallets to handbags and patches, they have them all. The folks here are really nice too, even to old nerdy people like the hub and I. Don’t worry about feeling out of place. They really are nice here and will talk to you about the selection, size options and upcoming events. It’s a nice change of pace to the rest of the shops down in Kemah.

Was visiting fin Chicago and decided to stop in and see what they had. The owner greeted us and we started chatting about what we had in common. The store was very nice clean and organized. The prices where very reasonable as well. She also suggested some places to go for entertainment. All in all I had a very pleasant experience and will be going back there before I leave.

I was SO excited to visit this shop after discovering it existed only 45mins away from me! My birthday was coming up and I wanted a pinup dress. Not sure if I came in on a bad day or what. I walk in the shop and say hi and the owner just looks at me and keeps yapping on the phone about a fashion show. Come to think of it, she never said a single word to me for the duration of my time in her shop as well as her husband. It was pretty awkward. I got him to finally mumble which dressing room I could use. The dresses they had on their website weren’t in store with the exception of one. Which didn’t fit well, but at no fault of their own. I put the dress back on the rack and walked out considering it was pretty obvious they weren’t interested in my business. Was I told goodbye when I left? Nope. That darn fashion show was still more important than my money apparently. And when I left an honest review on their Facebook it was magically deleted. Hmmm. **In all fairness, this happened in August of 2013, i’m finally getting around to reviewing them. Hey, maybe they’ve gotten their heads out of their asses over there and aren’t complete snobs. I’d love to be proved wrong!**

Really enjoyed the selection of pinup style products AND reasonable prices. I needed to try on items that I had seen online or in catalogs at other stores — and this place had some of them. Accessories, shoes, and other items galore. Do not hesitate to visit if you are in need of pinup, rockabilly and dare I say gothic style clothing. The shoe selection is a dream. :) I sure wish we had a place of this selection in the inner city, but The Haunted Heel is worth a drive to Kemah.

Ok so if you go down to the Kemah Boardwalk and look around a bit you will find a lot of unique boutique shops. We were there the other day and found this little gem of a place. They are a pin up, burlesque, rock n roll kind of clothing store. They have the coolest shoes, corsets, stockings, and other women’s classic sexy accessories. They also have some nice t shirts for men. Look at the photos for an example of what they offer. They call it Nostalgic Fashions with a Modern Flair. Ladies you could really make the man or woman in your life happy with some of the great clothes. Men well if you are into that stuff you might even find a corset or some high heels in your size! Really though this is a cool little shop to check out and it is locally owned. Next time you are in the Boardwalk area seek this place out for a fun shopping experience.
