Papa jacks is a good, back-​home restaurant that offers every good biscuit down east. My two favorites are the hoop cheese biscuit and the tenderloin and hoop cheese biscuit. The biscuits are huge! However, they are a little dry, but buttery. Ordered the tenderloin and hoop cheese this morning & was not disappointed! The tenderloin was very large and moist, the cheese was delicious, and most importantly it was hot. I usually try and get a biscuit every time I’m home, but here lately some of the local places serve their biscuits on the colder side. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip & will definitely be back.
